한국가정의 일원인 국제결혼을 통한 결혼이주여성이 사회통합에 이르는 과정에서 그들의 삶의 질과 결정요인에 대해 관심을 가질 필요성이 있다. 이에, 결혼이주여성의 삶의 질의 결정요인으로써 자아존중감, 신뢰수준, 언어능력, 배우자관계, 부모형제관계, 친구이웃지지의 실질적 영향력 크기를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 수행하기 위하여 서울과 경기의 수도권 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과 결혼이주여성의 삶의 질은 가족관계에서 배우자관계와 삶의 질이 상대적으로 높았고, 한국어능력과 자아존중감이 취약하였다. 또한 결혼이주여성의 삶의 질에는 배우자관계, 신뢰수준, 부모형제관계, 자아존중감, 언어능력, 사회적 지지 순으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 그 결과 결혼이주여성의 삶의 질을 높이기 위해서는한국어교육 중심의 사회통합교육 이외에 결혼이주여성의 삶의 질을 제고할 수 있도록 하는 지원정책이 종합적으로 제공되어야 함을 시사하였다. 구체적으로 배우자와의 긍정적 관계 형성에 초점을 둔 지원이 필요하고, 결혼이주여성들이 한국사회에서 긍정적 신뢰경험을 할 수 있도록 하는 네트워크의 형성기회를 제고할 필요성이 있다. In the process leading to social integration of immigrant women through marriage, there is a need to have an interest in the determinant of their quality of life. This study focused on self-esteem, trust, Korean linguistic competence, family supports, and social supports as the determinants of married female immigrants`` the quality of life. To accomplish the aims of the study, we conducted a survey of married female immigrant in the Seoul Metropolitan and Gyeonggi Provincial areas. The results are summarized as follows. First, of the quality of the married female immigrant``s life, in the family relationship aspect the quality of spousal relationship was relatively high, while their Korean language skill levels and self-esteem levels were weak. Second, lthe significant factor in the married female immigrant``s quality of life came in the order of spousal relationship, trust, parental and sibling relationship, self-esteem, linguistic competence and social relationships. Therefore, this study implied a need for an appropriate combination of policy in dealing with married female immigrant.
