        수열합성에 의해 제조된 YVO<sub>4</sub>:Eu<sup>3+</sup> 형광체의 발광특성

        We have synthesized $Eu^{3+}$-doped $YVO_4$ phosphors by using a hydrothermal method and investigated their luminescent properties. Aqueous solutions of $Y_2O_3,\;V_2O_5,\;Eu_2O_3$, and nitric acid with various pH values were used as the precursors. The crystallinity, surface condition, and emission characteristics were examined using XRD, FT-IR, and photo-excited spectrometer. $Eu^{3+}$ incorporation followed by the efficient red emission strongly depends on the acidity of solution media. The emission intensity becomes stronger as the pH values increase to 7 and then gradually decreases. This phenomenon might be related to the hydroxyl quenching effect, which is induced by surface bound OH-groups.

        조간대 갯벌에서의 도요·물떼새 서식지수용능력 추정

        Shorebirds migrating along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway (EAAF) have been drastically decreasing due to continuous area loss and quality degradation of intertidal mudflats in the Yellow Sea. Evaluating the current habitat quality by means of habitat carrying capacity estimation could be effective in predicting the magnitude of impacts caused by habitat loss and provide better understanding to improve management strategies. In this study, we estimated the total biomass of Macrophthalmus japonicus, a main prey item of curlews in the Korea peninsular as habitat carrying capacity of the southern intertidal mudflat of Ganghwa Island, one of the key stopover sites for curlews in the EAAF. The result of the estimation took into account spatial differences of prey biomass and the available foraging time by tide patterns. Accordingly, it was found that curlew populations account for 30.26% of the habitat carrying capacity. When we calculated the mean biomass of the area and extrapolated it to the whole area to calculate the total biomass, it was found that the curlews have consumed 10.92% of the total biomass. The results show that the habitat carrying capacity of the southern intertidal mudflat of Ganghwa Island has decreased by 7.8% compared to a study conducted twenty years ago employing the same method. This study shows that there can be considerable differences in the results of habitat carrying capacity estimation between different methods, indicating that various environmental factors that affect the estimation results of habitat carrying capacity must be considered to achieve a more precise analysis and assessment.

        Effect of Minimum Segment Width on Gamma Passing Rate Considering MLC Position Error for Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy

        Volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) requires higher multi-leaf collimator (MLC) position accuracy compared with conventional radiotherapy to reduce dose delivery error because various small segments are used to create complex dose distributions in VMAT plans. Despite the many reports on the effect of MLC position error on dosimetric quality assurance (DQA), few have addressed the correlation between the minimum segment width (MSW) and the gamma passing rate considering the MLC position error. We analyzed this correlation for VMAT plans using ArcCheck. VMAT plans with three different MSWs (5, 10, and 15 mm) were created for each of the seven prostate cancer cases using Monaco 5.11. With the introduced systematic errors of +1.0, +0.5, 0.0, --0.5, and --1.0 mm in the MLC leaf bank, the dose distributions were measured using ArcCheck. The planned and measured dose distributions were compared using gamma analysis with the Sun Nuclear Corporation (SNC) Patient software. The average passing rates and standard deviations were 73.4\% $\pm$ 3.8\%, 92.9\% $\pm$ 1.9\%, 96.9\% $\pm$ 1.3\%, 90.9\% $\pm$ 2.9\%, and 72.7\% $\pm$ 6.7\% for MLC position errors of --1.0, --0.5, 0.0, +0.5, and +1.0 mm, respectively. The gamma passing rate was linearly correlated with the MSW, as the R$^2$ value was greater than 0.96 for all MLC position errors, except 0.0 mm. The slope increased with increasing the MLC position error in all directions. For an MLC position error of --1.0 mm, the average differences in the gamma passing rates between MSWs of 10 and 15 mm with respect to an MSW of 5 mm were 3.9\% $\pm$ 4.0\% and 7.6\% $\pm$ 3.3\%, respectively, whereas the values were 8.6\% $\pm$ 6.1\% and 12.9\% $\pm$ 3.3\%, respectively, for an MLC position error of +1.0 mm. A correlation between the DQA results considering the MLC leaf bank errors and the MSW of the VMAT plans was established. The use of higher MSWs in VMAT plans was found to be less affected by the MLC position errors. This indicates that the lower the MSW, the more important the DQA before treatment. This study determines the maximum value of MSW corresponding to which the effect of MLC leaf bank error is minimum, thus providing a guidance for the clinical implementation of VMAT.

        장애인 대학생의 장애정체성 형성 과정 연구: 대학 내 장애인 동아리 활동을 중심으로

        본 연구는 대학 내 장애인 동아리에 참여하고 있는 장애인 대학생의 장애정체성 형성 과정을 근거이론 연구 방법으로 연구하였다. 본 연구에는 대학 내 장애인 동아리 활동에 참여하고 있는 11명의 장애인 대학생이 참여하였으며, 자료는 일대일 심층면담으로 수집하였고, 연구참여자들의 구술 녹음을 전사하여 원자료를 구성하였다. 분석 방법은 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)의 근거이론 방법을 활용하였다. 총 65개의 개념, 18개의 하위 범주, 9개의 범주가 도출되었으며, 핵심 범주는 “장애를 가진 나와 우리를 이해하고, 손을 잡고 함께 변화를 만들어나감”으로 도출되었다. 이를 통해 장애정체성 형성 과정을 ‘홀로 분투함’, ‘나 그리고 우리와 마주침’, ‘함께 이겨냄’, ‘인식을 확장함’ 단계로 구성하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 장애정체성을 형성할 수 있는 실효성 있는 대학 내 장애인 대학생 지원, 장애인 동아리 등 대학 내 자치단위 지원을 제언하였다. This study examined the process of forming disability identity of university students with disabilities, using the grounded theory method. This study focused on 11 students with disabilities who have participated in club activities in universities. In-depth one-on-one interviews were used to collect data, which was recorded and transcribed. The grounded theory method of Strauss and Corbin(1998) was used for analysis, and a total of 65 concepts, 18 sub-categories and nine higher categories were derived. The core category of the analysis was “Understanding myself and others with disabilities”. As a result, four steps in the process of forming disability identities were identified: “fighting alone”, “encountering myself and others”, “overcoming obstacles together”, and “extending the understanding”. This study recognized and proposed the need of support systems for club activities in universities related to disability for forming a disability identity.

        Short-Term Topical Antibiotic Treatment in Nasal Cavity Actinomycosis: Case Report and Literature Review

        Actinomycosis is a rare acute-to-chronic bacterial infection caused by Actinomyces. A 7-yearoldhealthy girl presented with left-sided nasal obstruction and purulent discharge. She had nospecial medical or trauma history, and the symptoms developed gradually after severe vomitingone month prior to the visit. Nasal endoscopy revealed white-black-colored cheesy materialthat appeared as a foreign body or fungal material in the left nasal cavity. The lesion wascompletely removed endoscopically under local anesthesia. The patient was prescribed only atopical antibiotic ointment without any additional systemic antibiotics. She was diagnosedwith actinomycosis based on histopathological examination after a few days. There was no recurrenceat six months post-procedure. The common treatment for actinomycosis is surgicalremoval and a systemic antibiotic therapy. However, this case was successful with completesurgical removal and only a short-term topical antibiotic ointment therapy. Therefore, thetreatment for actinomycosis should differ based on clinical characteristics and the patient’scondition.

        실업은 장애인의 삶에 흉터를 남기는가?: 장애인 실업의 종단적 효과에 대한 자기회귀교차지연 모형 검증

        Objectives: Although the unemployment scar effect is known that unemployment has a significant longitudinal effect on life satisfaction, it has not been verified whether the unemployment scarring also appears in the disabled group. In order to test the unemployment scarring of persons with disabilities, this study attempted to explore the longitudinal effect and the longitudinal mediating effect of self-efficacy on the life satisfaction. Method: 1,867 people responded to unemployment in the 2nd wave 1, 3, and 5th data of Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(PSED), and descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and autoregressive cross-lagged model analysis were conducted. Results: First, the autoregressive effect of unemployment, self-efficacy, and life satisfaction was confirmed. Second, a significant longitudinal effect of the self-efficacy on life satisfaction was confirmed. Third, the significant longitudinal effect and longitudinal mediating effect of the unemployment on self-efficacy and life satisfaction were not significant. Implications: Based on the research results, practical and policy suggestions for the employment of persons with disabilities were discussed. 연구 목적: 실업이 종단적으로 실업자의 심리에 부정적인 영향을 준다는 ‘실업 흉터’ 효과가 알려져있으나, 실업 흉터 효과가 장애인 집단에서도 나타나는지 검증된 바 없다. 본 연구는 장애인의 실업흉터 효과를 확인하기 위하여 실업이 장애인의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 종단적 영향력과 자기효능감의종단적 매개효과를 탐구하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 장애인고용패널 2차웨이브 1, 3, 5차 데이터에서실업여부에 모두 응답한 1,867명을 대상으로 하였으며, 기술통계, 상관관계 분석, 자기회귀교차지연모형 분석 및 다집단 분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 장애인의 실업, 자기효능감, 삶의 만족도의자기회귀효과를 확인하였다. 둘째, 장애인의 자기효능감이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 유의미한 종단적효과를 확인하였다. 셋째, 장애인의 실업이 자기효능감과 삶의 만족도에 미치는 유의미한 종단적 효과 및 자기효능감의 종단적 매개효과는 확인되지 않았다. 결론: 연구결과를 바탕으로 장애인의 잦은실업을 야기하는 고용률 중심의 장애인 노동시장 평가기준에 개선이 필요함을 주장하였다. 또한 장애인의 모든 일자리를 가치 있게 여겨 자기효능감을 증진하는 노동정책으로의 인식 변화를 제안하였다.

        Reference Dosimetry and Calibration of Glass Dosimeters for Cs-137 Gamma-rays

        본 연구에서는 방사선생물 분야에서는 사용하는 세슘-137 조사기에 대한 기준 흡수선량을 측정하고 시료의 방사선량 평가에 활용하기 위하여 유리선량계를 교정하였다. 세슘-137 감마선에 대하여 IAEA TRS-277 프로토콜을 적용하여 정밀하게 물흡수선량을 결정하였다. 기준 흡수선량 측정에는 PTW-TM300013 전리함과 PTW-TM41023 물팬텀을 사용하였으며, 유리선량계는 DoseAce사의 GD-302M 모델을 사용하였다. 교정된 유리선량계의 불확도(1 SD)는 약 2.7%로 평가되며, 본 결과는 연구용 시료의 방사선량 측정에 이용될 예정이다. In this research, the glass dosimeter was calibrated to measure the standard absorbed dose of the Cs-137 irradiator and absorbed dose in a biological sample. Absorbed dose in water for Cs-137 gamma ray was determined by the IAEA TRS-277 protocol. The PTW-TM30013 ion chamber and the PTW-TM41023 water phantom were utilized for measuring absorbed dose and the value was compared with the reading from DoseAce GD-302M glass dosimeter from Asahi Techno Glass Corporation for its calibration. The uncertainty of measurement ($1{\sigma}$) of the calibrated glass dosimeter was 2.7% and this result would be applied to improve the accuracy in measurement of absorbed dose in a biological sample.
