Quickness and precision are the two most important requirements for an industrial scale used in production lines. In this paper, a new approach, " Dynamic Mass-estimation Algorithm of Displacement and Velocity(DMA-DV) sensing type, is presented to improve some of drawbacks in conventional scales, The system, consisted of acceleration and displacement sensors, spring scale and microcomputer, is based on full utilization of dynamic mass measurement of acceleration and displacement via microcomputer-assisted real time monitoring. The resulting system, when combined with appropriate dynamic mass estimation algorithm software, has shown its effectiveness in terms of two desireable characteristics required.

This study investigates the mechanical properties of composites with the fiber surface treatment ofpolydopamine (PDA). The test material was composite laminated with carbon fiber, aramid fiber, and glass fiber. Themechanical properties were evaluated by tensile testing. The tensile strength of the aramid and glass composites generallydid not increase effectively with surface treatment. In carbon composites, both strength and toughness properties wereimproved by surface modification. In aramid composites, the toughness showed the best effect with surface treatment, butglass composites had no effect. When the deposited PDA was properly and evenly distributed, the composites showedexcellent tensile properties.
금형용 고경도재의 고속정면밀링 가공시 CBN 공구의 성능에 관한 연구

This paper presents the performance of CBN tools in the machining of hardened die-materials, STD11 and STD61 steel with H_RC 50, by high-speed face milling. Generally, grinding of EDM is used to machine hardened materials but so costly. If those can be replaced by cutting, it will be a greatly economical advantage. CBN tool has been recognized the effectiveness in turning, not yet in milling. So wear and surface roughness mode of CBN tool for hardened STD11 and STD61 steel will be investigated by high-speed face milling in this study.
SUS 304 배관재의 드릴가공시 AE신호를 이용한 공구마모 검출에 관한 연구

CNC 밀링머시인을 이용하여 STS 304파이프를 드릴가공하였을 때 마모검출을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 드릴공구의 마모경향을 AE RMS, 비절삭저항, 토오크, 스러스트를 통해 검출할 수 있었다. 그리고 AE RMS 와 비절삭 저항은 변화의 경향이 비슷하여 이 두 신호의 경향을 이용하여 절삭 마지막 부분의 공구 상태를 신뢰성 있게 검출할 수 있었다. STS 304 파이프와 탄소 강관의 가공시 AE RMS 신호는 공구의 마모시에 증가의 기울기가 작았으나 절삭 마지막 구간에서는 증가 기울기가 다를 뿐 모두 급격히 증가하는 양상을 보였다.

During alternative cutting, tool failure is suddenly occurred, so the continuous detection of tool condition is very necessary. this research was studied about tool wear and tool fracture by AE and cutting force signal during milling. It will be proved that the possibility of in-p개cess sensing technique by AE and cutting force signal in detection of tool condition. As a result, we intended to set the standard which can detect the tool wear and the tool fracture in optional p개cessing.
자기연마법에 의한 파인세라믹 Bar의 가공특성에 관한 연구

In this paper, the possibility of high precision machining was confirmed by using magnetic abrasive finishing process with rotating fine ceramic bar in high speed. Also, in order to improve the surface roughness, it was used the vibration of the magnetic pole and the mixed grain which is mixed with diamond paste for ultra precision processing and electrolytic iron powder. As a result, we knew that there is closely connected with diamond grain size, change of quantity and vibration of the magnetic pole to surface roughness of ceramic bar.

Metal cutting leaves a plastically deformed layer in the machined surface. This deformed layer affects in various forms to the physical properties of machined components such as the dimensional instability, the micro crack. These physical properties is called surface integrity which is very important in precision cutting. In this study, we introduce plastic strain, surface roughness, cutting force to evaluate surface integrity of machined surface, and examine mutual relation of these parameters.
CBN 공구의 형상이 고경도강의 절삭특성에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this investigation is experimentally to clarify the machinability and optimum tool geometry on milling of hardened STD11 steel. In the finish process of face milling of high hardened STD11 steel by CBN tool, the optimum tool shape is suggested, which can minimize the tool fracture and chipping by impact. It is measured that cutting force, tool wear and surface roughness generated during single-insert face milling using various geometric CBN tools. It has been found that the optimal chamfer angle of CBN too is about-25°and the suitable chamfer width is 0.2mm. The nose radius of tool is the most excellent at 1.2㎜ in the viewpoint of tool wear and surface roughness.
쓰레쉬홀드 및 주파수 변화를 이용한 공기압 제어시스템의 위치제어에 관한 연구

This paper deals with different method rather than PWM in position control system of pneumatic cylinder. And the following conclusion with pneumatic position control system using an on-off value were obtained from the experimental data. When position of cylinder by pressure was controlled, needed length by the threshold and the changed frequency of the input signal were controlled. And a character equation of this control system was calculated. Moreover, different method with position control of the existing PWM system was presented.
