The automotive industry is in the driving seat of ‘green ‘composites because it is here that the needs is greatest. A logical starting point is to take recyclable thermoplastic resigns, and combine them with biodegradable plant-based fibers. Natural fibers have the potential to reduce vehicle weight up to 40% compared with glass fiber, which accounts for the majority of automotive components. Much less energy is used in growing, harvesting, and preparing natural fibers than in producing mineral fibers including glass fiber. This paper describes the characteristics of natural fiber, the trend of automotive parts using natural fiber, and the physical properties including weight reduction through decreasing the density and jute reinforced polypropylene for the instrument panel.

The clinical isolate Staphylococcus aureus SA2 was resistant to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, clindamycin, erythromycin, gentamicin, kanamycin, methicillin, streptomycin, and tobramycin and harboured more than two kinds of plasmids. Transformation experiment demonstrated that 40.98-kb plasmid(pKH2) encoded resistance to ampicillin, clindamycin, erythromycin, kanamycin, and streptomycin. The cleavage map of a pKH2 was determined by restriction enzyme mapping techniques. Cleavage map is given for BamHM, BglI, BstEII, SalI and XhoI.

곡선구간 주행 성능 향상을 위하여 개발한 능동조향대차에 장착된 곡선검지 센서 시제의 곡률 추출 성능을 검증하고자 실선로에서의 현차적용 시험을 수행하였다. 차량 구동형식이 곡률 추출 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 부수대차 차량과 구동대차 차량을 대상으로 곡률을 측정한 결과, 궤도검측 결과와 비교할 때, 최대 편차는 공차 시 부수차량, 구동차량 모두 3.4%이며 만차 시 부수차량은 1.8%, 구동차량은 2.2% 수준으로 차량 구동형식에 따른 뚜렷한 차이점은 발견되지 않았다. 차량 하중조건이 곡률 추출 성능에 미치는 영향은, 부수대차 차량의 경우, 궤도검측 결과와 편차는 공차 3.4%, 만차 1.8%이며 구동대차 차량의 경우, 공차 3.4%, 만차 2.2%로 매우 미미한 수준이다. 따라서 능동조향대차 곡선검지 센서의 곡률 추출 성능은 차량 구동형식이나 하중조건에는 거의 영향을 받지 않는 매우 안정된 곡률추출 성능을 보이고 있다고 평가된다. 따라서 본 곡선검지 센서는 곡선구간 차량 제어를 위한 곡선 검지기술 분야에서 매우 실용적인 기술로 활용될 것으로 기대된다. To verify the curvature estimation performance of a curve detecting sensor prototype mounted on an active steering bogie developed to improve the running performance of a railway vehicle on a curved section, a test run was conducted on the test line. To analyze the effect of the driving type of the bogie on the curvature estimation performance, the curvature was measured for a trailer bogie vehicle and a driving bogie vehicle. Compared to the track curvature inspection results, the maximum deviation was 3.4% at tare-load condition and 1.8% at full-load condition for the trailer bogie vehicle. For driving bogie vehicle, the maximum deviation was 3.4% at tare-load condition and 2.2% at full-load condition; thus, no significant difference was found according to the bogie driving type. The effect of vehicle load conditions on curvature estimation performance was also very insignificant. For the trailer bogie vehicle, the deviation from the track curvature inspection result was 3.4% at tare-load condition and 1.8% at full-load condition. And, in the case of driving bogie vehicles, the deviation was 3.4% at tare-load condition and 2.2% at full-load condition. Therefore, the curvature estimation performance of the curve detection sensor of the active steering vehicle is evaluated as excellent hardly affected by vehicle driving types or load conditions. Therefore, this curve detecting sensor is expected to be used as a practical technology in the field of curve detection technology for vehicle control in curved sections.
