        사회복지사들의 직무스트레스에 대한 인식유형: Q 방법론 적용

        The study intends to grasp the subjective perception of social workers on the occupational stress and identified their perception types. The purpose of this study is to suggest for the human resources management of social welfare institutions to conduct an orientation of social welfare practices among social workers. The Q-methodology was used to achieve the purpose of this study. The result of Q-sort with 43 statements targeting 26 social workers showed that there were 4 types. Type 1 “Skill-Knowledge and Position Incompatibility” means that their work overloaded with unplanned work. It was recognized that the position was not appropriate in terms of experience and that the current work does not require high level of skills or knowledge. Type 2 “Lack of Career Growth” means that they don’t want to maintain their job. Because They do not have the opportunity to develop the ability. but, they have a good relationship with their coworkers. Type 3 "Bad Working Condition" means that social workers receive inconsistent instructions from superiors and there is no opportunity to exercise their decision-making ability. Type 4 “Scope of Work is Too Broad” means that social workers perform too many tasks at the same time and in effect, they are not able to develop specific skills for the job. This study shall provide various measures to address occupational stress among social workers according to the type of stress that they are experiencing. In this way, we will be able to improve the effect of social welfare practice through human resources management.
