The buzz, squeak, rattle noise become to be one of the main field issue. In order to reduce to these noise, New testing technology is need to develop the new vehicle. Customer complain for these noise are too ambiguous and various, it is very difficult to find and remove the noise source. Normally the expert for these noise at service center depend on just his know-how. To prevent these problem at early stage, HMC develop new tracking system of noise source using a seismic wave analysis method. Also new vehicle test method at cold and hot condition are developed to seek these noise first in the world.

An analysis system for BSR (Buzz, Squeak, Rattle) has been developed in this study. Based on the database of vehicle NVH test results and BSR signal analysis, the BSR analysis system is being verified and refined. Especially, static pounding and crushing test method is uniquely devised and can be simulated through the BSR analysis system. The system will contribute to successful design for BSR in the earlier stage of the vehicle development.
