LBC ( Streptococcus faecium Cernelle 68 ) 급여가 자돈의 증체율과 설사예방에 미치는 영향

Effects of the administration of lactic acid bacteria concentrate (LBC, Streptococcus faecium Cernelle 68) to pigs were investigated with 20 pregnant sows which were produced 175 piglets. Five treatments and 4 pregnant sows per treatment were control and 4 groups of LBC which were only different in carrier. LBC was given directly into the mouth twice daily and lg each for the first 2 week and added 4 g/㎏ of grower diet for the 2 week up to weaning (4 week), and then LBC was added 2 g/㎏ of grower diet and fed up to 120 day of age. Average birth weight and 120 day weight of all pigs were 1.34㎏ and 50.06㎏, respectively and average growth rate was 0.42㎏/day. Body weight gains from birth to 120day of age were improved 7.06∼20.92% in pigs fed LBC compared with control(p$lt;0.05), and total fed intake were also significantly higher in pigs fed LBC than the control (p (0.05). Feed conversions were 2.50㎏ in control and 2.40∼2.54㎏ in LBC group which were improved 0.80∼4.00% over control except T2 group. Incidence of scouring was the highest within 8 weeks of age and were considerably higher in control group as compared with LBC groups.
