흉부대동맥궁 박리증 수술 전, 후 발생한 폐렴 및폐부종에 대한 심폐호흡물리치료 임상사례

Purpose : The purpose of this case study is find out the effect of the cardiorespiratory physical therapy on a pneumonia and pulmonary edema of thoracic aortic-arch dissection patient before and after surgery. Methods : The thoracic aortic-arch dissection patient taken a pneumonia and pulmonary edema was performed cardiorespiratory physical therapy that coughing assist, tapping, deep breathing exercise, chest mobilization and aerobic exercise(bicycle) for 4days. Result : The thoracic aortic-arch dissection patient taken a pneumonia and pulmonary edema having a dyspnea, high-fever, lot of sputum and general deconditioning is improved by the cardiorespiratory physical therapy for 4days. A dyspnea, high-fever, lot of sputum of patient subsided and general deconditioning improved, patient s chest x-ray prove cardiorespiratory physical therapy that help restore patient s pneumonia and pulmonary edema. Conclusion : The result of application of cardiorespiratory physical therapy to the pneumonia and pulmonary edema of thoracic aortic-arch dissection patient demonstrate the importance of cardiorespiratory physical therapy in an approach to the pneumonia and pulmonary edema of thoracic aortic-arch dissection patient and treatment intervention.
60mg-Pseudoephedrine이 점증적 트레드밀 운동검사 시 유산소운동능력 및 대사기능에 미치는 영향

Purpose : This study was to examine the effect of 60mg-pseudoephedrine on aerobic ability and metabolic function during graded treadmill exercise. Methods Six healthy, male, ordinary men attended to graded treadmill exercise. The subjects were given a graded exercise test(Bruce protocol), Then crossed over and re-started after one week. All data(i.e., O2 consumption, total work time, rating of perceived exertion, heart rate, systolic blood pressure, blood glucose, GOT, GPT, BUN, creatinine) were analyzed using a two tailed, paired t-test(p<.05). Results The level of blood glucose at the end of stage 3 with application of 60mg-pseudoephedrine was significantly higher than that without application of 60mg-pseudoephedrine(p<.05). The blood pressure at the end of stage 3 with application of 60mg-pseudoephedrine was significantly higher than that without application of 60mg-pseudoephedrine(p<.05). No other significant differences were observed at stages of submaximal exercise or recorvery. These data suggest that a recommending dose of 60mg-pseudoephedrine dose not enhance or impair VO 2 and other cardiopulmonary variables and during submaximal exercise. Conclusions: On the base of these results, further research design should be followed to investigate the effects of 60mg-pseudoephedrine on other cardiopulmonary parameters during graded treadmill exercise
전신 쇠약 노인의 흡인성 폐렴에 대한 심장호흡물리치료 사례연구

Purpose : The purpose of this case study is find out the effect of the cardiorespiratory physical therapy on aspiration pneumonia of old and weakly patient. Methods : The old and general weakly man taken a aspiration pneumonia was performed cardiorespiratory physical therapy that coughing assist, tapping, deep breathing exercise for 2days. Result : The old and weakly aspiration pneumonia patient having a dyspnea, high-fever, lot of sputum is improved by the cardiorespiratory physical therapy for 2days. A dyspnea, high-fever, lot of sputum of patient subsided, patient’s chest x-ray prove cardiorespiratory physical therapy that help restore patient’s aspiration pneumonia. Conclusion : The result of application of cardiorespiratory physical therapy to the old and general weakly aspiration pneumonia patient demonstrate the importance of cardiorespiratory physical therapy in an approach to aspiration pneumonia treatment intervention.

The purpose of this case study is to treat the general weakness and mild neural problem of a coronary artery obstruction and hypoxic brain damage patient using low-intensity therapeutic exercise training and to examine its effects. The chief complaint of the patient is the general weakness and mild neural problem in duced by two cardiac arrests duo to coronary artery obstruction. Methods : The patient has been treated for 6 weeks using the low-density therapeutic exercise training. The low-intensity of therapeutic exercise training is equivalent to Exertion Level at an 9 of The Borg Rating of Perceived Exertion scales (Borg Scale). Result : The ambulation status of the patient proved to have changed for the better after exercise than before. Conclusion : The low-intensity therapeutic exercise training proved to be efficacious for the general weakness and mild neural problem of a coronary artery obstruction and hypoxic brain damage patient.
상행대동맥과 전대동맥궁 교체술을 환자에게 고농도산소요법과 저강도 유산소 운동치료가 기계호흡 이탈에 미치는 영향

Purpose : The purpose of this case study was to assess the effect of high-oxygen therapy and low intensity aerobic exercise intervention in patients requiring weaned mechanical ventilation with ascending aorta and total arch replacement. Methods : Patients requiring weaned mechanical ventilation with ascending aorta and total arch replacement completed low intensity aerobic exercise (bicycle) and high-oxygen therapy, followed by a resting state of ten days. Results : Patients requiring prolonged mechanical ventilation were removed from the mechanical ventilator, and oxygen supply from a tracheal tube and was replaced with room air. Gait pattern was improved from wheelchair ambulation to walker. Conclusion : High-oxygen therapy and low intensity aerobic exercise intervention provided prior to a shortening of prolonged mechanical ventilation increased strength of respiratory muscle, and improved general weakness.

Purpose: In this case study, we aimed to examine the effects of low-flow nasal oxygen therapy during a low-intensity exercise intervention on the gait improvement of a patient with thoracic vertebral fracture and respiratory disease. Methods: An old patient with thoracic vertebral fracture and respiratory disease received low-flow nasal oxygen therapy during low-intensity (Borg scale, 3-4) exercises (e.g., tilting table, walker standing, and walker gait) for 4 weeks. Results: We found that the patient could breathe on her own in room air during independent gait with a walker. Conclusion: Low-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy during a low-intensity exercise intervention improved general weakness and strengthened respiratory muscles as well as shortened the period of oxygen therapy.
