The platform screen door(PSD) is installed in the station of the Seoul Metro 9th line for passengers' safety and comfortable environment of the station. The track way exhaust system(TES) is also operated with PSD to exhaust heat released from train. TES can also be used for the purpose of the heat and smoke control in an emergency case of the carriage fire. When the fire is occurred, operation of TES is switched to the smoke exhaust mode form its normal ventilation mode. In the present study, a subway station of Seoul Metro 9th line is modeled, and a 3-D CFD simulation is performed to investigate effectiveness of designed TES in case of fire. A scenario that a train under fire is arriving the station is simulated for several possible operation modes of the TES using moving mesh technique. As a result, temperature and CO concentration distribution in the station is obtained for each operation modes of TES. The effectiveness of TES operation in case of fire is also discussed.

Hydrogen fueled engine with external mixture has higher thermal efficiency than directed injection hydrogen fueled engine. It has not required structural change of an existing gasoline engine. But it has low power output and backfire problem in rich mixture relatively.<br/> Thus the numerical analysis is performed on the hydrogen-fueled engine with external mixture for variable equivalence ratios and it is compared with the experimental and numerical result of gasoline engine with external mixture.<br/> It is found that hydrogen fueled engine with external mixture has very shorter delay of combustion period, higher cylinder pressure and higher cylinder temperature than gasoline engine with external mixture.
고차항표면 특이치 분포방법을 이용한 에어포일주위의 포텐셜 유동의 해석

The potential flow along the aerofoil was solved using the surface singularity distribution method. Among the surface singularity method, the surface source distributioj method calculates the potential flow around the aerofoil approximated polygon. For the case of the thin and strongly cambered aerofoils, especially near trailing edge, this method shows inaccuracy along the flat plate elements with piecewise constant source density and constant vorticity distribution. To improve the accuracy, we used higher order method which consists of curved elements with piecewise parabolic source density. But the finite vorticity near trailing edge caused un smooth Gp value near. T.E. To improve the inaccuracy and make Cp value smooth near T.E., the parabolic vorticity distribution along the chord was used. We applied this method to symmetric and asymmetric aerofoils and obtainded satisfactory results.
