기존의 PLC 프로그래밍 언어인 FBD(Function Block Diagram)에 있어서 FB(Function Block)는 입력 및 출력부가 하나의 박스에 정의되어 있어서, 편집시 입출력 수를 변경하기 어렵고, 많은 FB를 편집하는 데에 제약이 따른다. 이 연구에서는 기존의 FB 대신에 입력부, 몸체부, 출력부등 세 부분으로 나누어지는 FB를 이용한 PLC 프로그래밍 도구를 제안한다. 제안된 FB의 경우, 재정의 없이 입출력 수를 변경할 수 있고, 편집시 FB를 단순 도형으로 처리하여 FB의 블럭복사도 가능하다. 뿐만 아니라, 도면표시에 있어서는, 기존의 FB를 사용하는 FBD가 단순한 박스 모양의 회로소자를 갖는 전자회로도 형태를 갖는 것에 비해, 제안된 FB를 사용하는 FBD는 논리소자의 모양이 각각 다른 논리도면 형태를 가지므로 도면을 보다 이해하기 쉽다. 그리고, 제안된 도구는 전자회로 설계용 도구에서 사용되는 계층 구조적 논리도면 편집기능도 제공한다. It in not easy to change the number of inputs or outputs of FE, and to edit many FBs in a FBD with existing PLC programming tools which adopt the FB defined with a box including input and output parts together. In this paper, a PLC programming tool using the FBs which are divided into three parts, i.e., input, body and output part is proposed. It is possible to change the number of inputs and outputs of the proposed FB without the redefinition of it, and to copy a block of FBs in editing. Furthermore, the FBD made with the proposed FBs which looks like a logic diagram with different logic elements in shape, are more comprehensible than the FBD made with the existing FBs which looks like a electronic circuit diagram with box-typed circuit elements. And hierachical logic diagrams can be made with the proposed tool as with electronic circuit diagram design tools.
