Radiative cooling is a way of cooling with radiative heat transfer, using low temperature (3K) space as a free heat sink. With high reflectivity in the UV/NIR range and high emissivity in the IR range (especially in 8~13㎛), raditive cooling material can cool itself below the ambient temperature. Since it does not require any external energy input, it is expected to reduce global energy consumption. However, temperature drop of radiative cooling materials at outdoor experiment depends on continuously varying factors, such as wind speed, sunlight, humidity, ambient temperature or so on. Therefore, same radiative cooling material can show different temperature drop depending on the location of experiment. In this research, we suggest indoor evaluation method for radiative cooling material that can exclude such varying factors. Our novel evaluation method fits well with simulation results, which suggest that this method can be further improved for universal evaluation tool.
