This is a cass repart of an 18 year old femalepatient, who was given the initial diagnostic: impression of either manic depressive illness or schizophrenia, but after a period of observation,, was found to have a periodic psychosis showing, a chronological correlation between her symptoms and menstruation. She was treated by chlorpromazins, holoperidol, and lithium without clinical improvement. But a combined steroid oral contraceptive was tried to which she responded with gradual improvement without periodic exacerbation. after one month of the contraceptive medication she affainad a social recovery almost toher previous level of adjustment. After 70 days, of the contraceptive medication, it was discontinued and for 5 months since the disontinuation no recurrence of the symptoms was observed.

It has been well known that schizoaffective schizophrenia (SAS) has presented difficult diagnostic problem This study was primarily on progress of clinical feature. Subjects were 14 patients who had been given the diagnosis of SAS initially or later in the course of treatment and had been followed over 3 years for the purpose of evaluating the clinical course and diagnostic validity. Some significant findings were as follows; 1) Female patients outnumbered males by 9 to 5 (1.8:1) and mean age of onset was 22 years. 2) Four were initially diagnosed as SAS and the rest of 10 cases were changed to SAS later in the course of treatment. 3) Five out of six good responders to lithium were of excited type and showed biphasic mood changes. 4) Most of them had good premorbid adjustment, showed cyclothymic personality and had a clear precipitating factors. 5) According to the clinical progress, three groups could be delineated as follows: Group Ⅰ: Three cases with clear cut clinical feature with good prognosis. Group Ⅱ: Four cases presently diagnosed as manic depressive illness. Group Ⅲ: Four cases with considerable thought disorder with chronic, deterioration course. Taking into consideration above findings, following suggestions are proposed. 1) Group Ⅱ and Ⅲ can be seen as a transient manifestation of SAS in the course of different disease group rather than representing a separate disease entity. 2) However, as in Group Ⅰ, SAS can be regarded as a separate disease entity in seleted cases.

There are various which organize architectural forms. The concept of Collage is one of the ways to understand various situation in the Contemporary Architecture and the needed to be underrtood to solve problems in architecture, painting, sculpture etc. Formal characteristic of collage aesthetics proposed by the Cubism appeared to a creative element for a new form in the trends of architecture. Results of this study are as follows. In the Housing Architecture, The Collage is trasposed to the subjective form thanthe general form, and is used as a method to solve problems such as a perception in interior and exterior spaces and urban contexts.

우리나라 1개 농촌지역사회 주민의 질병실태에 관한 조사

A morbidity survey was carried out in order to collect the health data of people in a Korean rural community, Su-dong Myun, Yang-ju Gun, from August 12 to 16, 1974 through interview with 207 patients, and the following results were obtained: 1. Prevalance rate was 150 per 1000 for male, 157 for female, and average prevalance rate was 150 per every 1000. 2. 55∼59 age group was 263 as the highest, and 10∼14 age group was 100 as the lowest per every 1000. 3. Following was th order of five major diseases which were classified with I.C.D.: 1) Disease of the Digestive System (ⅠⅩ) 43.0% 2) Disease of the Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue (ⅩⅡ) 12.6% 3) Disease of the Musculoskeletal System (ⅩⅢ) 12.6% 4) Disease of the Respiratory System (Ⅷ) 11.1% 5) Accidents, Poisoning and Violence (ⅩⅦ) 7.7% 4. Following was the order of three major disease for 98 patients in short term illness which were classified with I.C.D.: 1) Disease of the Digestive System (Ⅸ) 51.0% 2) Disease of the Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue (ⅩⅡ) 19.8% 3) Accidents, Poisoning and Violence (ⅩⅦ) 12.2% 5. For short term illness, the recovery times were 3 days in 40.8% and 7 days in 72.4%. 6. In 265 cases, the treated were 146. 7. Uses of medical facilities were Su-Dong Myun 48.3%, Hwa-Do Myun 27.6%, Seoul 12.4%, etc, 12.4%, respectively. 8. The average medical cost was 6458 Won in Herb drug store, 3240 won in Hospital, 967 won in drug store.
