In this study, the properties of high-strength mortars mixed with lightweight waste glass aggregate. As Waste glass bead(WGB) incorporation increased, the strength of high-strength mortar decreased, but the effect varied depending on the surface roughness. WGB with rougher surface exhibited higher matrix strength efficiency. The improvement in elastic modulus (E*) and microhardness (HIT) was observed at WGB incorporation rates of 30% and 50%. The results suggest that the hydration changes in the Interfacial Transition Zone (ITZ) between WGB and paste contributed to the enhanced properties. Further research should explore optimal incorporation ratio in different curing conditions to expand WGB applicability.
