For the wind-diesel hybrid electric power generation system equiped with two diesel generators, the diesel power sharing is studied analytically and a power sharing technique of less fuel consumption is developed. Based on the technique, as example, a diesel power sharing algorithm is suggested for two diesel generators of capacity 500Kw(200Kw +300Kw).

It is considered to be an important subject to connect mid-surface patches for generating shell model from solid model automatically. This paper describes a concrete method of mid-surface patch connection based on graph representation. Using PMMG(pair face & mid-surface mapping graph), it can be determined which edge of a mid-surface patch should be extended. After that, mid-surface patches are extended, trimmed and connected to generate a complete shell model.

The EMS system requires a very delicate suspension control to maintain constant air-gap between the magnet and the guide-way rail. To maintain a constant air-gap with attraction force, the EMS system dynamics is changed according to uncertainties and disturbances, and it also requires reliability against component failures. Since uncertainties and component failures are frequently caused in EMS system, it is very important to develop the robust and reliable control system. In this paper, we consider the design problem for robust and reliable controller in the presence of uncertainties and component failures.
