The flame retardant ABS polymer was prepared with various inorganic and organic flame retardant agents. Especially, PVC was known a good flame retardant polymer and economical substrate. The effect of retardant agents concentration and mechanical and optical properties of the blends (ABS-PVC) were studied. Blends structures were investigated by scanning electron microscopy. A viriuos mechanical and optical properties were affected by additives, monomers, and pre-polymers.

洛東江 下流의 底質中에 含有되어 있는 重金屬의 含量을 粒度別, 深度別로 區分 調査하여 아래와 같은 結果를 얻었다. 底質中의 重金屬含量은 粒子가 작을수록 많았으며, 粗粒子(230/270 mosh)에 대한 微細粒子(400 mesh)의 重金屬含量比는 Cu가 底質의 上層에서 2.27, 下層에서 2.78로 나타났다. 粒子의 크기에 따른 重金屬含量의 변동개수는 同種의 경우 거의 비슷하였으나 各種金屬間에는 큰 차이가 있었다. 底質中에 有機物質量은 小粒徑일수록 많았으며, 有機物質量과 重金屬含量間에는 서로 높은 相關關係가 있었다. 非超過 確率分布 및 變動係數의 結果로부터 洛東江下流 底質中의 Cu, Zn, Cr 등은 水質汚染에 기인함을 알았다. 底質中의 重金屬中 Cu, Zn, Pb의 相關係數는 0.95 이상으로서 매우 높은 相關性을 나타내었다. Studies were carried out on the pathway and the trend of the heavy metal pollution on the sediment in the down stream of Nak-dong river. It was found that The content of heavy metal on sediment concentrated in the small particle size. The ratio of copper between 400 mesh and 230/270 mesh was to be 2.07 In the upper part of sediment and in the lower part of sediment to be 2.78. Copper pollution at each sampling sites was remarkably increased to the down stream. The coefficient variances of each heavy metal in the same particle size wire not different greatly, but the values of the coefficient variance between heavy metals showed different. The contents of organic matter in the small particle size were also more concentrated than the large particle size. The high correlation between organic matter and the content of heavy metal on the sediment could be found. If was confirmed that heavy metals such as Cu, Zn and Cr of sediment in the down stream of Nak-dong river were originated with pollution fly the analysis of the probability distribution and the coefficient variance.

Extraction charaxteristics of hazardous components were investigated by anticorrosive sand. The hazardours components for anticorrosive sand were not exceeded limited level of groundwater quality. The COD concentration of waste-molding sand showed remarkable difference by molding factory, which was relatively high level. The quantity of corrosion for metalic pipe after lapse of ll month increased in the order of the following sample: sand>soils>waste molding sand. However, anticorrosive sand did not showed corrosion, it was observed that anticorrosive sand one of the the best material used for anticorrosive metalic pipe.
