Recently, the number of livestock breeders increased as meat consumption increased due to the westernized diet in Korea. Accordingly, the livestock feed is gradually becoming larger and more industrialized, and the amount of livestock excrement has increased and the interest in recycling it is growing. Traditional methods for the utilization of livestock excrement include using it as fertilizer or solid fuel after drying. However, the solid fuelification of organic sludge isnt economically feasible because it consumes a lot of energy to remove moisture. In this study, in order to convert livestock waste into an efficient solid fuel, the water is first removed to reduce the energy of the drying process, and then applied to centrifugal separation technology to remove residual water. The water removal rate due to oil extraction was measured using a water extractor, and as a result, it was different depending on the type and amount of demulsifier.
