In this study, FEM Model was developed to estimate the behavior of CFCT (Concrete Filled Carbon Tube) columns subjected to uniaxial compression load. 8-noded solid element for concrete and 4-noded membrane shell element for carbon tube were used in FEM model. The classical laminate theory was used to compute the mechanical properties of a carbon tube. A nonlinear finite element model with a Druker-Prager was introduced to account for nonlinear characteristics of a confined concrete by carbon tube. A sensitivity analysis was carried out in order to obtain the values of Druker-Prager parameters(c, φ, φ, k) which affect the result of analysis of CFCT. The result of a FEM analysis with proposed model was well compared with experimental data.
