With the influx of Western values and the drastic change through industrialization, westernization, urbanization, and information age, the awareness and emphasis on the traditional value of filial piety have diminished in contemporary society. Such societal change has brought a drastic change in people's lifestyles and thinking, ultimately to the point of deteriorating ethical standards of dehumanization an chaos in the value system. This has risen as a critical issue of the current age. The lack of education on Korean filial piety, ethics, and values has given way to juvenile delinquency which has become a serious social problem. Such problem also pertains to adults as well. The degree of misconduct among politicians, economists, legal authorities, celebrities being reported on the television news is well beyond acceptable standards. Our traditional value of filial piety is based on moral education, which emphasize respect to parents, fraternity among brothers, harmony among the family members, love and courtesy to others. The lack of education on filial piety has led to an increase in juvenile delinquency both in its number and seriousness. This is fundamentally due to the lack in moral education on the virtues of 'Ren' (仁, Benevolence) and filial piety, which has led to broken families, increasing elderly citizens living alone, and our country ranking as the number one country with greatest number of elderly suicidal rate among OECD countries which can be attributed to general weakness in the society's and school's moral education policies. The fundamental factor behind the problem is the lack of communication between the parents and children within the family. One of the best solutions to this problem is to conduct moral education within the family in connection with the school, where the parents teach their children the values of filial piety and benevolence. However, the reality is that both the family and the school's moral education is not yet enough to establish solid values of filial piety. This is because the teaching of filial piety, benevolence, and Korean value systems are not emphasized as a national policy. Therefore, in order to recover our society's lost ethical standards and re-establish the transgressed values, a teenage education program of filial piety should be developed and implemented among families and schools. The purpose of this study is to effectively implement the education of filial piety, benevolence, and our traditional ethical values. For that matter, we first look into how parental love and filial respect affects parents and children. We also seek to lay the foundation for more detailed measures in re-establishing the society and school's ethical standards based on education of filial piety, which will recover moral deficiency and ethical chaos. To implement this, a longterm ethics program should be set as a regular school curriculum focusing on emotionally sensitive teenagers. In summary, this study looks into the blind spot of the current education system which neglects moral education of filial piety, and strongly proposes the implementation of an ethics education of filial piety as a regular national education curriculum.
청소년의 일반적 특성에 따른 부모와 의사소통 및 효의 상관관계에 대한 연구

본 연구는 청소년의 일반적 특성에 따른 부모와 의사소통 및 효에 대한 인식차이를 분석하고자 한다. 연구대상은 서울시 O구의 인문계, 실업계 고등학생 대상으로 2014년 3월부터 7월까지 290명에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSSWIN 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, 일원변량분석, 상관분석 등을 실시하였고, 실증분석은 유의수준 5%에서 검증하 였다. 분석결과는 첫째, 父와의 의사소통은 학교 구분, 경제수준, 종교에 따른 차이가 유의미하였으며,母와의 의사소통은 학교 구분, 학년, 성적, 가정교육, 경제수준에 따른 차이가 유의미하였다. 둘째, 효에 대한 인식은 父와의 의사소통과 母와의 의사 소통은 유의미한 정의상관이 있었다. 본 연구의 시사점은 청소년과 부모 간의 일반적 특성에 따른 의사소통이 원활할수록 효에 대한 인식이 높다는 연구가 정책의 기초자료가 될 것으로 사료된다. This study analyzed the gap in perception between communication with parents and filial piety according to the general characteristics of teenagers. The test subjects were high school students from academic and vocational school from different districts of Seoul. A survey was conducted from March to July of 2014 to 290 high school students. Data analysis was conducted on the SPSSWIN 18.0 program using a t-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and other tests. The empirical analysis of the experiments were verified at the significance level of 5%. First, communication with fathers differed significantly depending on the school division, economic class, religion; and communication with mothers differed significantly depending on school division, grade-level, academic performance, domestic discipline, and economic class. Second, the perception of filial piety showed a significant positive correlation with the communication with the mother; and with the communication with the father. The implication of this study is that better communication between the parents and teenagers correlate with the higher filial piety according to the general characteristics of teenagers, and should become a central material for policy.

As we move into the modern era, rapid changes have occurred through industrialization, scientification and informatization as Western ideas have flooded into Korea, while our lives have become very convenient and advanced. However, our perception and values regarding the filial piety culture are diminishing. The upright values necessary for this age can be found in the traditional cultural ideology of ‘filial piety’ that is deeply rooted in the Korean ancestry. Rooted in the Korean filial piety culture, it is a diachronic value that spans from several thousand years ago to the modern era, and it is embraced by all religions, including Confucianism, Buddhism and Christianity. Filial piety is the respect for parents, affection between siblings, harmony between the family, and furthermore, consideration and love for others. The disappearance of our traditional culture of filial piety is linked to the loss of character education, causing juvenile delinquency to increase and aggravate each year. This phenomenon is fundamentally a result of poor filial conduct education, which causes broken families, increase of elderly people living alone and the dishonour of the highest suicide rate of the elderly in OECD countries. This is because of the failure of domestic upbringing, school education and social education, and poor national education policies. One of the best ways to solve teenager issues that are worsening each day is to link parental education at home with school education, and to emphasize character education and the ideology of filial piety, which is the root of school education and social education. To restore the reversed values and to heal this sick society, where the foundations of education have been forgotten and the morals and ethics have disappeared, social education must develop filial piety education programs suitable for the growth of teenagers, and to implement filial piety cultural education as a national policy. Therefore, more than any other national policy, it is of upmost urgency to have people recognize the importance of filial piety culture and filial piety education, and to reestablish a new paradigm of character education. To accomplish this goal, we must draw up measures to reorganize ethics in the home, school and society by balancing traditional filial piety education and character education for the effective implementation of traditional filial piety culture and filial conduct education. The purpose of this study is to strongly argue that filial piety education should be consistent in the home, school and society for correct filial piety culture education that is absolutely beneficial to teenage education, and that school education and social education should be linked by national policy.

In Korea today, traditional perspectives on filial duty and its values are thinning increasingly due to the overflow of Western values as well as industrialization, urbanization, and transformation into an information-oriented society. This is a very important issue in this day and age. Due to the decline of the essential Korean understanding of filial duty, personality education, and value education, adolescent delinquency is becoming a very serious social problem. The traditional values of filial duty comprise respect for our parents, affection between siblings, and peace within our families, on top of general consideration and love for other people. However, due to the decreasing amount of filial duty education and its practices, adolescent delinquency is increasing every year in its frequency and seriousness. Phenomena such as families being disbanded, more and more senior citizens living alone, and Korea ranking number 1 in the suicide rate of senior citizens among OECD countries, are caused by insufficient personality education. This is why a very good solution to the increasing seriousness of adolescent delinquency is connecting household education done by parents with school education, focusing on filial duty and personality education. However, the current situation in such areas is very unfavorable for instilling filial duties and values. Thus, we must develop and carry out filial duty education programs that are appropriate for adolescents development in order to heal our society from this diseased state of being without any ethics or morals. This research first studies the effects of children’s filial duties on parents in order to efficiently carry out filial duty education. Moreover, in order to improve the problems of morality loss and moral chaos in society, we must find specific methods to reestablish morals in our families, schools, and society through traditional filial duty education and personality education. Furthermore, it is necessary to focus on consistently educating our children and adolescents who are at a sensitive age through filial education set as regular subjects of the school curriculum.

Currently, coin type, bar type and vertical linear type actuator has been used as three main actuators for mobile phone vibration generator. Coin type and bar type actuator, which generate vibration by the principles of eccentric rotation, need bearings or brushes. However, there is a drawback in short product life from these abrasions. Also, circular type virtual leaner actuators are currently in highlight as an actuator for touch-screen mobile phones. On the other hand, the negative side for the mobile phones using circular type virtual leaner actuators is increasing noise among assembled mobile phone components as they lay flat. Therefore, this paper proposes horizontally vibrating type linear actuator. The study compares and analyzes dynamic performance between the conventional vertical and horizontal linear actuator by designing horizontal vibration type actuator with the commercial electromagnetic solver, Maxwell.
아파트에서 흡연조건이 각 실의 실내 공기 환경에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to understand the variation characteristics of indoor air environment in adjacent rooms by smoking in an apartment. The smoke generated in a place of smoking can be directly transferred to the other rooms, because the air flows between rooms in an apartment according to the pressure difference. So there are influenced by smoking in the place where there are no smoker. According to the ventilation method or the number of the smokers, the smoke transferred to the each rooms is different in their quantity. So as to decrease the influence of the ETS according to smoking, it needs to consider a suitable ventilation method and a smoking location.

This paper presents the new design of flat electromagnetic actuator. Novel shorted tum and copper center pole are placed into existent design in order to reduce the inductance of coil and develop the initial response. Dynamic finite element analysis using commercial electromagnetic solver MAXWELL is performed to simulate the improvement of dynamic characteristics such as fast initial response and so on.

Recently in Korea, Western ideologies have proliferated and the social environment has drastically transformed with the advent of the information age. With this, the traditional values of filial piety have diminished. This is a crucial change. The absence of filial piety, ethics, and values in our education is causing serious problems related to adolescence delinquency. Filial piety teaches respect for our parents and good relations with our siblings, along with care and love for other people. Therefore the absence of such teachings in our education is playing a particularly big role in the rise of adolescence delinquency. This is caused by families dissolving and weak personality education policies, ultimately because of weak teachings on filial piety. Connecting parenting in the household and teaching in schools to focus on filial piety and personality education is a good method to solve aggravating problems in adolescents. However, the personality education held in the family and schools these days is insufficient for establishing filial piety and its values. Thus, it is urgent for us to reestablish a new personality education system through teaching filial piety and its values. This study analyzes how children`s acts of filial piety affects their relationship with their parents, in order to find an efficient method of traditional value education. Moreover, in order to improve the current state in which the citizens of Korea have lost their moral values and are confused ethically, we must find a means to reestablish social values through our traditional culture of teaching filial piety and personality. We must also find efficient methods of educating established ethical knowledge and culture to adolescents who are emotionally sensitive.
