본 연구는 김해 지역의 지역축제인 가야문화축제를 대상으로 그 경남의 가야축제, 김해 가야축제의 관광특성을 사진을 이용하여 고찰하였다. 가야문화축제는 역사적 중요성에 비해 상대적으로 일반인들의 관심에서 벗어나 있던 고대 가야시대에 대한 관심을 부각시켜 제 4제국인 가야 역사적 중심지인 김해를 널리 알리는 계기를 마련했다. 가야문화축제가 경남의 문화축제로서 뿐 아니라 전국민의 지지를 얻는 관광문화축제로 자리매김하고 국제적 문화축제로 성장하기 위해서는 축제의 양적 확대와 함께 질적 성장을 이루어야 하며, 적극적 홍보와 가야문화권 연계 프로그램 전략을 도입할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 김해 가야문화문화축제의 관광 특성을 살펴보고 이를 활성화 할수 있는 방향을 알아보고자 한다. This study, mainly based on Gaya Cultural Festivals especially in Gimhae and Kyungnam area, researched and analyzed Tourism characteristics by using the photos of the area. Given the historic importance of the area, Gaya Cultural Festival is a bit away from the public attention. Boosting an interest in the area through highlighting Gaya as an ancient historical center can be a big opportunity for the locals. To make Gaya Cultural Festival not only for Kyungnam province but also as an international Festival as well as a national one, it is very important to tremendously pursuit both qualitative and quantitative growth with the expansion of the festival at the same time. In addition, it is very necessary to strategically introduce the associated Gaya Cultural program and actively promote the festival.
