        DISCRETE PRESENTATIONS OF THE HOLONOMY GROUP OF A ONE-HOLED TORUS

        A one-holed torus §(1; 1) is a building block of oriented surfaces. In this paper we formulate the matrix presentations of the holonomy group of a one-holed torus §(1; 1) by the gluing method. And we present an algorithm for deciding the discreteness of the holonomy group of §(1; 1).

        A pair of pants Sigma(0,3) is a building block of orientedsurfaces. The purpose of this paper is to determine thediscrete conditions for the holonomy group piof hyperbolic structure of a pair of pants.For this goal, we classify the relationsbetween the locations of principal lines and entries of hyperbolicmatrices in PSL(2,R).In the level of the matrix group SL(2,R), we will showthat the signs of traces of hyperbolic elementsplay a very important role to determinethe discreteness of holonomy group of a pair of pants.

        Parathyroid cysts, which are classified as either functioning or nonfunctioning, are rarely observed as neck masses, especially in the mediastinum. Herein, we present a 38-year-old woman with a nonfunctioning parathyroid cyst in the mediastinum. Physical and radiologic examinations of parathyroid cysts are not specific and preoperative diagnosis is usually difficult. Therefore, clinicians should consider the possibility that parathyroid cysts occuring in the mediastinum mimick other more frequently observed lesions.         지능형 방음터널 개발을 위한 스마트 모빌리티의 핵심 기술 및 디자인 연구

        스마트 시티 개념하의 도시 교통 시스템과 인프라는 보다 지능화되는 스마트 모빌리티(Smart Mobility)로 발전하면서, 신성장 모빌리티 비즈니스 모델 창출과 같은 경제적 지속가능성을 가지는 새로운 패러다임으로 변화하고 있다. 이에 따라 기존의 방음터널은 지능형 방음터널로 발전할 뿐 만 아니라, 새로운 교통 서비스 구현을 가능하게 하는 인프라 기반 ICT 시설로의 발전 가능성을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 방음터널과 같은 도로 및 교통 인프라로부터 지능형 기술 요소들을 추출하고, 스마트 모빌리티를 위한 기술-디자인 상관관계를 사례연구 기반으로 도출하였다. 이를 기반으로 디자인 분야가 스마트 서비스 가치를 창출할 수 있도록 그 역할 및 요소 기술 접근 방법론으로서 ⅰ) 환경 감지 및 상황 이해, ⅱ) 디지털지도 및 현지화, ⅲ) 개념 및 파일럿 응용/실용화, ⅳ) 사람과 운송기기의 상호 작용, ⅴ) 도시 교차점에서의 자동 운전, ⅵ) 도시 도로망에서의 자동 운전, ⅶ) 교통약자와의 상호 작용 등의 세부 디자인 연구가 필수적이다. As the urban transport system and infrastructure under the concept of Smart City evolve into an intelligent Smart Mobility, there arises into a new paradigm with economic sustainability, such as creating a new growth mobility business model. As a result, the existing sound-proof tunnel not only develops into an intelligent sound-proof tunnel, but also has the potential to become an ICT infrastructure that enables the implementation of advanced transport services. In this study, intelligent technology elements are extracted from the road and traffic infrastructure such as the existing soundproof tunnel, and the technology-design correlation for smart mobility is derived based on the case study. This study is essential as the role and element technology approach methodology, which provides detailed design research in the following criteria: ⅰ) Sensing the Environment and Situational Understanding, ⅱ) Digital Map and Localisation, ⅲ) Concepts and Pilot Applications, ⅳ) Human-Vehicle Interaction, ⅴ) Automated Driving through Urban Junctions, ⅵ) Automated Driving on Urban Streets, and ⅶ) Interaction with Vulnerable Road Users.

        MobiRPL: Adaptive, Robust, and RSSI-based Mobile Routing in Low Power and Lossy Networks

        This paper tackles the mobile routing issues in lowpowerand lossy networks (LLNs). The IPv6 standard routingprotocol for LLNs, termed IPv6 routing protocol for low-powerand lossy networks (RPL), has mostly been investigated in staticLLNs and it has no explicit mechanism to support mobility. Inaddition, there is no mobile routing protocol that works well inmobile LLNs. Considering the importance of mobility supportin many LLN applications, this work designs and implementsMobiRPL, an adaptive, robust, and received signal strengthindicator (RSSI)-based mobile routing scheme based on theRPL standard. To cope with network dynamics, the MobiRPLdesign focuses more on maintaining reliable routing topologythan on minimizing energy consumption. This design choicesignificantly improves reliability while maintaining the acceptableenergy consumption of mobile LLNs. We implement MobiRPLon Contiki OS, and evaluate its effectiveness extensively throughCooja simulation and testbed experiments. Our results fromthe testbed show that MobiRPL improves mobile nodes’ packetdelivery ratio by 11.3% compared to RPL and reduces the energyconsumption of mobile nodes by 73.3% compared to the baselinescheme, i.e.,the lightweight on-demand ad-hoc distance-vectorrouting protocol - next generation (LOADng).

        화염 분무 열분해법에 의해 합성된 SnO2 나노입자의 가스 감응 특성

        SnO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by flame spray pyrolysis, which were directly deposited on Pt interdigitated substrates. Gas sensing performance was evaluated for various gases such as H2, CO,H2S, and NH3, and it was compared with that of commercial SnO2 nanopowder. The synthesis of SnO2nanoparticles was also conducted in various solvents. As a result, the primary particle size was changed with the solvent of precursor solution, and their H2 sensing properties were significantly affected. SnO2 나노입자를 화염 분무 열분해법을 이용하여 합성하였으며, 다공성 SnO2막을 화염 분무 열분해법을 통해 백금 전극이 올려진 기판 위에 직접적으로 증착하였다. 증착된 다공성 SnO2막의 가스 감응 특성을 수소(H2), 일산화탄소(CO), 황화수소(H2S), 암모니아(NH3)와 같은 다양한 가스에 대해 평가하였으며, 상용화 SnO2 나노분말의 가스 감응 특성과 비교하였다. 또한, 전구체 용액의 용매를 변화시켜가며 SnO2 나노입자를 합성하였다. 용매의 변화에 따라 SnO2 나노입자의 입자 크기의 변화를 관찰하였고, 이에 따른 수소 감응 특성의 변화를 관찰하였다.
