The wheeled armored vehicle has a high center of gravity, and it operates on unpaved and sloped roads. Therefore, this vehicle has a high risk of rollover crashes. To design the interior of the military vehicle, the crew’s safety during rollover crashes is an important factor. However, there are restrictions in designing the space and the safety devices of the vehicle. In this paper, nonlinear dynamic analysis is performed to simulate the rollover crashes and the passenger injury is assessed with an existing vehicle model. Moreover, designs of a headrest and a seat belt are proposed to reduce passenger injury. The results of passenger injury are compared with a previous design. HyperWorks and LS-DYNA are used for the finite element modeling and nonlinear dynamic analysis, respectively.

A combat wheeled vehicles are designed to operate under harsh conditions and fatigue life prediction of military vehicles is an important issue in the defense industry. The fatigue analysis is performed by transforming the dynamic loads occurred while a wheeled combat vehicle runs on the test road into an equivalent durability load profile. The fatigue life of a wheeled combat vehicle is analysed by using commercial code FAMFAT which can consider into the effects of fatigue notch on weld efficiently and validated by those of fatigue test in test bench. This study can be used to improve the durability performance of family series on wheeled combat vehicle effectively in the near future.
플라즈마 피치에 따른 150㎜ 샤워헤드에 대한 CFD 유동해석

This study is performed to analyze the fluid flow about 150mm shower heads of semiconductor device. Under the air pressure, the ideal gas of moving fluid is injected as 5㎧ velocity into inlet of shower heads and the flow distribution in shower heads is measured according to pitch of plasma distribution device. As results, the maximum and minimum value of fluid velocity are investigated with their position. The velocity values at outlet are also studied. From two experiment using the plasma distribution device, the results of CFD are compared with the experimental results. That results shows stable flow of fluid in that case of corrected design from CFD.

This paper investigates the reliability of district heating pipes at thermo-elastic fatigue loading. District heating pipes, subjected to 120℃ and 16㎏f/㎠ due to water distributing service through inside the pipes, should endure long term cyclic thermal-mechanical loadings. The heating pipes are the co-centric tubes of steel pipe, poly urethane(PUR) insulator, and high density poly ethylene(HDPE) case. On installation, foam pad is externally wrapped for accommodating stress reduction near the bend sections of pipes. However, there have been frequent reports on the failures of bend sections in the middle of long term service. This study scrutinizes the observed failures near the bend sections through applying the finite element methods. Specially in this study, heating pipes are studied on the influence of foam padding on failures and proposed new designs for reinforced bend without foam pad.

본 논문에서는 피사체의 고유색을 나타내기 위한 자동 백색보정의 기본 개념과 여러 알고리즘을 소개하고 이의 성능평가 방법에 대해 기술한다. 우선 색온도를 조절할 수 있는 광원 챔버내부에 여러 피사체와 맥베스차트를 설치하고 서로 다른 색온도에서 촬영한 기준영상을 얻는다. 맥베스차트의 무채색 영역에 대하여 RGB 색이 서로 같을 경우 백색보정은 잘 되었다고 판단하며, 서로 다를 경우 색상에 대한 표준편차의 평균을 구하여 각 알고리즘의 보정 성능을 수치적으로 비교한다. 물론 이 값이 작을수록 성능이 우수하다고 판정하며 이런 관점에서 알고리즘의 개선 방안을 제시한다.

In this present paper, optimum design of small sized compressor valve has been suggested. Valve is attached to the cylinder of the compressor and it is very important to know the fatigue fracture behavior of the valve in order to evaluate the performance of the valve. 2-way FSI (Fluid Structure Interaction) analyses have been performed using ANSYS workbench and ANSYS CFX. Pressure distribution inside the cylinder has been analyzed. Several kinds of the variables of valve shape were chosen and the influence of the variables related to fatigue fracture has been analyzed.
