몬테카를로법에 의한 규격부재 구조의 최적설계에 관한 연구

An algorithm for optimal design of structures with discrete of specified design variables is developed. A computer program is written to test validity and efficy of the algorithm with various example problems of minimum weigh truss design subject to displacement, stress, and design variable constraints. As the results, it is found that the algorithm is highly stable and can be readily applicable to various structural optimization problems with discrete set of specified design variables.
The Effect of Brand Personality on Brand Identification, Switching Barrier and Brand Commitment

The objective of the current paper was to identify different brand personality dimensions and to examine the effects of brand personality on brand identification, switching barrier and brand commitment. We found that (1) brand personality dimensions are categorized into ruggedness, sincerity, classic, excitement and cuteness, (2) brand personality has a positive effect on brand identification, switching barrier, and brand commitment, (3) brand identification has a positive effect on switching barrier and brand commitment, and (4) switching barrier has a positive effect on brand commitment. The findings indicate that when consumers perceive certain brands to have personalities that match their own self‐images, positive outcomes are anticipated. As such, we conclude that firms can differentiate their brands by trying to infuse into their brands personalities with which their target customers can identify.
