This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of freezing temperatures and storaging durations on the chemical components of different section of frozen milk. The results obtained were as follows: 1) Physical properties of milk were not affected by freezing temperature and storaging duration. 2) Fat and protein content of milk was slightly decreased but the change was considered to be caused by the separation of caseinate system and destruction of fat emulsion. 3) Fat distribution of milk was concentrated in the top layer while that of homogenized milk was concentrated in the bottom layer. Pasteurized milk showed more uniform distribution of fat when frozen at -20℃ than at -10℃. 4) Protein distribution of frozen milk whether pasteurized or homogenized was concentrated in the bottom layer when defrosted. The same trends were obtained for the distribution of acid casein, whey protein, 12% T.C.A. precipitated protein and 12% T.C.A. soluble protein.
Pd 및 CNT 첨가에 따른 $SnO_2$ 박막의 이산화질소 감지특성

이산화질소를 감지할 수 있는 센서물질로 Pd과 탄소 나노튜브(CNT)가 첨가된 $SnO_2$ 박막을 스핀코팅으로 제조하였으며, 동 시편의 이산화질소에 대한 감지 특성을 $200^{\circ}C$ 및 $1ppm{\sim}5ppm$의 $NO_2$ 농도 하에서 측정하였다. 센서시편의 전기저항은 $NO_2$ 기체의 노출과 농도에 따라 증가 하였으며, Pd이 3wt%로 첨가된 시편의 감도는 26.5로 첨가전의 감도에 비하여 10배 증가하였다. 또한 $SnO_2$ 모체에 첨가한 CNT의 량에 따라서도 감도는 증가 하였으며, 0.225wt% CNT 첨가 시 5ppm의 $NO_2$ 농도에서 감도 값은 72이었다. The $SnO_2$ thin films doped with Pd and CNT as $NO_2$ gas sensor were prepared by spin coating and then the $NO_2$ gas response of these films were evaluated under $1ppm{\sim}5ppm\;NO_2$ concentration and operating temperature of $200^{\circ}C$. It was found that the sensor resistance was increased with $NO_2$ exposure and $NO_2$ concentration. The 3wt% Pd doped sample showed a sensitivity of 26.5 which was 10 times higher than that of pure $SnO_2$. And also the sensitivity of CNT doped sample increased with CNT content and it had 72 when 0.225 wt% of CNT was added under 5ppm $NO_2$ concentration.

This experiment was conducted to evaluate the chemical compositions and to determine the feeding value of sea weeds collected from Seogwipo, Cheju Island for growing chicks. 180 single comb white leghorn chicks were allotted for 2 treatments according to the lev els of sea weeds in their ration such as 5% and 10% on air dried basis. Body weight gain, feed consumption and feed efficiency in each treatment were measured. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The sea weeds variable contents in crude protein, crude fiber, crude minerals, iodine and calcium content, but no difference was observed in crude fat, N.F.E. and other mineral elements among sea weed samples. 2. In body weight gains, the statistical significant diffence (p$gt;0.01) was observed between the control lot and the treatments, but there was no significant difference between T1 (5%) and T2(10%). However, until 3 weeks of feeding periods there was no significant difference between the control lot and T1 (5%) and from 2weeks of feeding there was statistical difference (p$lt;0.05) between the control and T2(10%). 3. In feed intake, no difference was observed between the control lot and the treatments. In feed efficiency there was statistical difference (p$lt;0.05) between the control lot and treatments but there was no difference between T1 (5%) and T2(10%). 4. From the above results, it runs estimated that sea weeds could be supplemented by 5% of the chicks ration without exerting any apparent adverse effects on the growth up to 3 weeks of feeding.

A survey on the management of 27 ranches among 116 village cooperative ranches and the raising cattle in Cheju province was carried out during one month. The results are as follows: 1. The pasture area of the 27 cooperative ranches was 8.3% of the total pastures in Cheju. However, these 27 cooperative ranches raising 22% of the total number of all the cattle in Cheju so 47% of their 27 cooperative ranches have insufficient pasture land for their present herds. 2. Cattle grazing was allowed to the members of cooperative and the non-members who paid a fee of 500 to 700 won for calves and 1,050 won for cattle per head. 3. Ninety percentage water used by the 27 cooperative ranches is natural water; that is rain or stream water. 4. Twenty six percentage of the cooperative ranches have silo in their villages, but only 5.3~ of the farmer raising cattle used it. 5. There are 13 breeding ranches in the 27 cooperative ranches. Non-members of these 13 breeding ranches must pay 20 won for calves, 50 won for heifers and 70 won for cow per head each day. The breeding fee is 1,000 won. Seventy seven percentage of the newly sown pasture land belongs to the cooperative ranches was failed, but 67% was good on the breeding ranches. 6. Seventy four percentage of those seeking the service of Bulls preferred Brahmans. Forty one percent of farmers do not want to castrate their F₁ because it reduces their working performance. 7. Eighty five percentage of the farmers wanted to burn their pastures. The main reason is the possibility of early grazing.

In this paper, a novel nonlinear control method of the CVCF(constant voltage and constant frequency) output voltage for the three-phase PWM inverter is proposed, which gives high dynamic responses at load variation as well as zero steady-state error. The experimental results are shown to verify the validity of the proposed scheme
