건강 검진 수진자에서 장내 기생충 양성률의 변화(2000~2006)

Background/Aims: Contemporary clinicians have very little understanding of the importance of preventing parasitic disease. This aim of this study was to estimate trends in intestinal parasitic disease via stool examination in healthy Korean adults. Methods: We reviewed stool examination results to detect any intestinal parasite infections in newly examined healthy patients at the Health Promotion Center of Samsung Medical Center from 2000 to 2006. Results: The rates of overall intestinal parasite infection showed substantial growth from 2000 to 2006: 2.51%, 2.63%, 3.56%, 4.04%, 4.48%, 3.94%, and 4.45% (p<0.001) for 2000 to 2006, respectively. Rates of infection with helminthic eggs (five species) increased from 0.80% in 2000 to 1.50% in 2006 (p<0.001). This trend corresponds to the positive rate of Clonorchis sinensis helminthes (0.45% to 1.43%; p<0.001). Total protozoan cysts infection (four species) also increased (from 1.96% to 2.99%, p<0.001), especially with infection of Endolimax nana (1.15% to 2.23%; p<0.001). Conclusions: Rates of intestinal parasite infection have increased over the last seven years, especially with C. sinensis and E. nana. These results demonstrate that Korean doctors should pay more attention to the diagnosis and treatment of parasite infections to further patient education and prevent parasitic infections. The occurrence of duodenal varices is rare. They are often overlooked as a source of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in patients with portal hypertension. Experience in control of bleeding duodenal varices is limited. Endoscopic variceal ligation (EVL) is generally considered a safer alternative than endoscopic injection sclerotherapy for treatment of bleeding esophageal varices. Recently EVL has been described as a successful treatment for ruptured duodenal varices. We present a case of bleeding duodenal varices in a 46-year-old man with liver cirrhosis and cholangiocarcinoma who presented with melena. Emergency endoscopy revealed no esophagogastric varices, but several nodular varices were found in the second portion of the duodenum. A punctate ulcer overlying the varix with intermittent bleeding was observed. The hemorrhagic lesion was successfully treated by endoscopic ligation after failure of hemostasis with ethanolamine injection therapy. Endoscopic ligation may be a therapeutic choice to arrest active duodenal variceal bleeding. (Korean J Med 63:220-224, 2002)
무선 센서 네트워크에서 통신 반경에 따른 에너지 효율적인 Cross Layer Protocol에 대한 연구

본 논문에서는 제한된 에너지(Energy)를 갖는 센서 노드(sensor node)들로 구성된 센서 네트워크(network)에서 송신 전력에 따른 통신 반경을 구성하여 효율적 에너지 관리를 위한 Cross Layer 프로토콜(Protocol)을 제안한다. 성능평가는 기존에 통신 반경 알고리즘(Algorism)으로 사용되었던 GAF(Geographical adaptive fidelity)와 비교하였으며, 성능평가의 파라미터(Parameter)로 송신 전력에 따른 에너지 소모율과 통신 반경을 사용하였다. 통신 반경은 시뮬레이션(simulation)을 사용한 이론값과 IEEE 802.15.4를 지원하는 Chipcon사의 CC2420을 적용한 한백전자의 ZigbeX Mote를 사용하여 실측하였다. 또한, 송신 전력으로 인한 노드 간 지연 여부도 측정하였다. 성능평가 결과, 제안한 알고리즘은 기존에 제안된 GAF 알고리즘보다 높은 에너지 효율을 보였다. 네트워크 구성 초기 및 30 개 이하의 적은 노드로 구성 시 기존 알고리즘의 에너지 효율이 약간 더 높았으나, 다수의 노드로 구성되고 긴 시간 사용되는 센서 네트워크 환경에서는 네트워크 생존 시간에 큰 영향을 미치지 못하기 때문에 보다 효율적인 네트워크 사용이 가능하다. In this paper, we proposed energy efficient Cross Layer Protocol with communication radius which consider transmission power. We simulated the Cross Layer Protocol with the GAF (Geographical adaptive fidelity) which suggested communication radius algorithm before. Using the simulation parameter, communication radius and energy consumption rate by transmission power. We test ZigbeX Mote applied CC2420 which made by Chipcon and applied IEEE 802.15.4. Also, we test data transmission delay with transmission power. The performance evaluation results, The proposed algorithm shows that the energy efficiency is higher than the GAF algorithm that is proposed before. If we use under 30 node, the energy efficient of the existing GAF algorithm will be higher than the proposed algorithm. But, wireless sensor network operate long time and consist of many nodes. so, the problem is not a concerning. The proposed Cross Layer Protocol can prolong the network lifetime.

In this paper, we proposed a home gatewat using IEEE 802.15.4. The home gateway uses zigbee that can communicate with appliances. A message format for zigbee communication is re-designed and can control appliances. but a devices which need wide band with can use ethemet.
