이온교환된 Montmorillonite에 대한 X선 형광법 및 X선 광전자분광학적 연구

The structural characteristics of cation exchanged montmorillonite was studied X-ray spectroscopy. Correlated X-ray fluorescence spectroscopic(XRF) and photoelectron spectroscopic(XPS) analysis were applied to determine the skeletal composition of Na??, Co²??, Fe²?? and Fe³?? exchanged montmorillonite. The Al/Si ratios of surface and bulk of ion exchanged montmorillonite were investigated XPS and XRF respectively. The X-ray results show chemical extraction of Al atoms from skeletals. The cation effect on the dealumination process was found to be related to the pH of the metal chloride solution. Expecially, we found that the Al/Si ratio of bulk was less than of the surface.

Molybdenia supported on zirconia catalysts were prepared by impregnation of powder Zr(OH)₄with aqueous solution of ammonium molybdate followed by calcincing at various temperature in air. The characterization of the catalysts were performed by using IR, XRD, and DSC-TGA. The characteristic surface area and acid amounts were also measured. The addition of MoO₃to zirconia shifted the transition of ZrO₂from amorphous to tetragonal phase to higher temperature due to the interaction between MoO₃and ZrO₂. Upon the addition of 10% MoO₃to ZrO₂both acidity and acid strength of catalysts increased. This indicates the formation of new acid sites on the surface of MoO₃/ZrO₂catalyst.
