        사회체육 : 여가활동 참여 대학생의 라이프스타일과 건강증진 행위 및 대학 조직만족도 간의 인과모형 연구

        Tire principal purpose of this study is to analyze closely the causal effects a" lifestyle, health promotion behaviors and organization satisfaction of the Universities participating in sport for all.For this purpose the research was administered to using materials of 394 male and female universities dwelling in Kyungsanbukdo. Data were collected through samples by means of cluster sampling method.The questionnaire for data collection of this study was based on those used in previous studies among lifestyle, health promotion behavior, and school organization satisfaction scales, and used them after exam ing the verification of validity and reliability through pilot test.The methods of Statistics used to analyze the collected datas were structural equation modeling analysis.The following is contusions brought through these analyzing methods and process in this study. Hopothesis I was selected to optimal casual model.

        운동생리학 : 골격성숙도가 운동수행능력에 미치는 영향

        The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of physical performance on skeletal maturation in schoolboys and girls aged 9-12 years. The subjects consisted of 454 school boys and girls. Anthropometric characteristics included body weight, height, sitting height, bone widths, circumferences, and skinfold thicknesses. Skeletal maturation was assessed by the Tanner-Whitehouse II method. Skeletal age was determined by RUS scores (radius, ulna, and short bones). Physical performance tests included flamingo balance, sit and reach, grip strength, standing broad jump, sit-ups, 50m shuttle run, and endurance run.All analyses were carried out by the SAS computer programs (SAS Institute, 1988). The results showed that flamingo balance was not significant difference between skeletal maturity group in boys, but significant differences for sit-ups, standing broad jump, sit and reach, grip strength and endurance run between groups. Advanced group was better for those variables than the other two groups. For girls there were no significant differences for sit-ups, and shuttle run between maturity groups. On the other hand, significant differences (p < 0.05) were found between groups for flamingo balance, grip strength, and endurance run. Advanced group showed higher mean values for standing broad jump, and grip strength, but normal maturity group showed lowest values for those variables.

        자연과학편 : 당뇨유발 흰쥐에서 트레드밀 운동이 망막의 혈관내피성장인자 발현에 미치는 영향

        당뇨병의 주된 합병증 중 하나는 새로운 혈관 생성과 신경퇴화의 특징을 보이는 증식성 망막증이다. 당뇨병에서는 고혈당증, 저산소증과 부적절한 대사조절 능력이 혈관내피성장인자(vascular endothelial growth factor, VEGF)의 발현에 중요한 요인으로 제시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 당뇨를 유발한 흰쥐에서 당뇨성 망막증에 대한 트레드밀 운동의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. Sprague-Dawley계 흰쥐를 대조군, 운동군, 당뇨군, 당뇨운동군으로 분류하여 각 군당 8마리씩 배정하였다. 당뇨는 streptozotocin을 50 mg/kg의 용량으로 주사하여 유발하였다. 운동군은 분당 8 m의 속도로 하루 30분씩 주 5회, 총 12주 동안 트레드밀 운동을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과 당뇨쥐의 망막에서 phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K), phospho-protein kinase B(pAkt), hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α), 그리고 VEGF의 발현이 증가하였다. 트레드밀 운동은 PI3K/Akt 신호전달체계를 억제하여 HIF-1α의 발현과 VEGF의 발현을 감소시켰다. 본 실험 결과 트레드밀 운동은 망막의 새로운 혈관 생성을 억제함으로써 당뇨성 망막증의 진행을 억제하는데 효과적인 방안이 될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. One of the major ocular complications of diabetes mellitus(DM) is retinopathy, which is characterized by increased neovascularization and neural degeneration in the retina. In the present study, we investigated the effects of treadmill exercise on retinopathy in the rats with DM. Thirty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into four groups(n = 8 in each group): control group, exercise group, DM-induction group, and DM-induction and exercise group. DM was induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin. The rats in the exercise groups were made to run on the treadmill for 30 min five times per a week, during 12 weeks. The expressions of phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K), phospho-protein kinase B(pAkt), hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α), and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in the retina were determined using western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry. In the present results, the expressions of PI3K, pAkt, HIF-1α, and VEGF in the retina of the diabetic rats were increased. Treadmill exercise suppressed HIF-1α and VEGF expressions through inhibition of PI3K/pAkt pathway in the diabetic rats. These results suggest that treadmill exercise may ameliorate the progression of diabetes-induced retinopathy by inhibiting neovascularization in the retina.

        몇 몇 순발력(瞬發力) (POWER) 측정종목(測定種目)의 타당도(妥當度)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

        I. The purpose of the studyThe purpose of this study is to find the appropriate test items in measuring the power as motor ability For this purpose, this study investigates the correlationships between power test items that come from theory of theory of physics, and power test items that come from records of physical performance tasks.II. The limitation of the studyThe limitation of present study lies in subjects and test instruments. In subjects, the present study used 30 college men, because of restriction time and cost in study. In test instruments, this study adopted photo electric machines instead of switch mat for Margaria Kalamen power test, since it is difficult to make switch mat. So that, generalization of the conclusions of this study will need careful consideration.III. The subjects of the studyThe 30 college men of department of physical education Yonsei University, were chosen and examined as the subjects. The mean age of subjects are 19.5±0.5 years, the mean height are 172.85±6.16cm, and the mean weight are 66.47±9.54kg.IV. The test itemsThe test items as follows Sargent jump, standing bread jump, 50m dash with 15m running start, Gray’s power test, and Margaria Kalamen power test.V. The testing instrumentsOne-hundredth second timer was used for the measurement of Margaria Kalamen power test, and conventional instruments and scales were used for motor performance task and physical examination.VI. The treatment of the dataThe mean, Standard deviation and standard errors of every measurement items were figured out and the significance and correlations between each item were analyzed by product-moment correlation coefficient. All of the data were calculated by computer at computer centr, Yonsei University.VII. ConclusionsThe brief conclusions obtained by the analysis of the datas collected age as follews1. In the power test about motor ability, Sargent jump and standing broad jump are more valid than Margaria Kalamen power test.2. Although the record of Sargent jump and standing broad jump is in cm as unit of distance, the record is to be evaluated as compositive factors, those are force and velocity.3. Margaris Kalamen power test was little significant in order to test power output as explosive ability, since it is to convert force into the weight and the measure distance is limited.4. As the power test, there was shown large correlation coefficient. 761, between Sargent jump and standing broap jumd. S.B.J preferred S.J., because the height that is extended Arm reach with stature in S.J., cannot be accurately measured.
