태권도 훈련이 청소년의 체력, 신체구성 및 성장호르몬 관련 인자에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of taekwondo training on physical fitness, body composition and growth hormone-related factors of youth. The subjects of this study were 26 middle-school students. The subjects were divided into control group (n=10) and taekwondo training group (n=16). Taekwondo tailing program was carried out 120 min a day, 5 days per week for 12 weeks. The measurement items classified physical fitness, body composition and growth hormone-related factors, and of all subjects were measured at before and after the program participation. To verify on effects of exercise, we did repeated measured ANOVA. Also paired and independent t-test was performed to test the significant levels of differences within and between group. Significance was set at the α=.05. The results of this study was follows. In taekwondo training for 12 weeks, the training group was statistically significantly increased on back strength, muscle endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, agility, speed, power, muscle mass growth hormone, and IGF-I. The control group was statistically significantly decreased on cardiovascular endurance, agility, power, growth hormone, IGF-I, and was statistically significantly increased on body fat. The muscle endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, agility, power and growth hormone showed significantly high in training group compared to control group after application of taekwondo training program. In conclusions, this study suggests that taekwondo training for 12 weeks have a positive effect on the physical fitness, body composition and growth hormone-related factor of youth.
