원료가 서로 다른 세종류의 국산활성탄을 사용하여 니켈 및 아연이온에 관한 할로겐과 시안이온의 활성탄 흡착에 대한 공존효과를 살펴보았다. 수용액중에서 니켈 및 아연이온은 할로겐이나 시안이온의 공존으로 착음이온 형태로 활성탄에 용이하게 흡착됨을 알 수 있었으며 니켈이온은 pH $6.0{\sim}7.0$에서, 아연이온은 pH $6.5{\sim}7.0$의 범위가 가장 적합함을 알았다. 또한 니켈이온과의 착음이온을 만들기 위한 음이온은$ 1{\times}10^{-2}mol/l$에서 그 최대치를 나타내었다. 실온에서 구한 이들의 흡착등온선은 거의 직선으로 Freundlich의 흡착등온식게 따랐으며, 시안이온 공존시의 기울기는 활성탄 A, B, C에 대해 각각 1.7, 5.4, 7.1로서 활성탄 A가 흡착제로서 매우 양호한 것을 알 수 있다. The adsorption characteristics of heavy metal ions $(Ni^{2+}$, $Zn^{2+}$) on domestic activated carbon which manufactured from the wood, waste rubber and coal has been studied. The following conclusions were obtained by investigating the effect of pH, halides, cyanide and temperature on the absorption of heavy metal ions and by determining absorption rate and absorption isotherms. When heavy metal ions were adsorbed on activated carbon in the pH range from 6 to 7, treated heavy metal ions were almost come to the equilibrium and recovered in the form of complex anions such as $MX_4^{2- }$and $M(CN)_4^{2-}$ in an hour. The absorption isotherms of heavy matel ions were well fitted in Freundlich's equation. Heavy metal complex anions on activated carbon were easily eluted by using 0.1N HCl solution. These results suggest that the complex anions have unexpectedly strong affinity for the surface of activated carbon.

螢光X線을 利用하여 珪酸鹽鑛物中의 主成分인 $SiO_2$, $Al_2O_3$, $Fe_2O_3$, CaO, MgO 및 $K_2O$를 迅速히 分析할 目的으로 試料의 處理 測定 및 各條件에 對하여 檢討하였다. 試料를 Lithium Tetraborate로 용융하여 300Mesh 以上의 微粉末로 한後 40,000Lb의 壓力으로 成型하여 Tungsten과 Chromium 對陰極의 X-線管과 LiF, EDDT, ADP의 分光結晶을 使用하여 測定하였다. 各成分에 對한 檢量曲線은 Matrix Effect를 고려하여 N.B.S 및 International Rock Standard를 選定 使用하였고 Lanthanum Oxide 및 Binder로서 Borie Acid를 첨가하여 얻었다. 各成分에 對하여 本法의 再現性 및 誤差를 檢討하기를 爲하여 I.R.S T-1을 使用하여 測定한 結果 0.47($SiO_2$), 0.85($Al_2O_3$), 0.05($Fe_2O_3$), 0.07(caO), 0.02($K_2O$), 0.13(MgO)의 標準偏差를 얻었다. 또한 化學分析植에 對한 偏差를 求하고져 Clay, Kaoline, Alunite, Wallastonite 및 Zeolite 等의 珪酸鹽鑛物을 選定하여 化學分析 및 本法에 依한 分析結果를 비교하였다. X-ray Fluorescence Spectrographic method has been applied for the rapid determination of main components, such as $SiO_2$, $Al_2O_3$, $Fe_2O_3$, CaO, MgO and $K_2O$ in Silicate Minerals. In this method, Boric Acid was used as a binder after fusion with Lithium Tetraborate in the briquet-making process. The Lithium Flubride, Ammonium di-Hydrogen Phosphate and Ethylene Diamine d-Tartrate crystals were used with Scintillation counter and Gas Flow counter as the detectors. Several influences on this method were discussed, including the particle size of samples and reducing of the matrix effects by dilution with Boric Acid and addition of Lanthanum Oxide with the diluent. In order to test the reproducibility of this method described above, the determination of the same kind of samples were carried out repeatedly, and the results obtained were presented in the table. Calibration curves for each element were presented, and the application of the method was tested with International Rock Standard T-Ⅰ. All the results obtained by X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrographic method were compared with the results by conventional chemical method.
Polarography 에 依한 Titanium 의 定量에 關한 硏究

Polarograph에 依한 分析方法을 利用하여 Ilmentite 鑛石에서 Titanium을 定量함에 있어서 鑛石을 酸처리하여 그 溶液을 器機에 提供함으로써 長時間 所要되는 在來의 分析方法을 避하여 迅速定量을 試圖하였다. 먼저 各種의 支待電解質에 對하여 檢詩하였으며 그 電解質에 對한 Titanium波의 定量感度와 共存하는 여러 Ion이 Titanium 波에 미치는 영향에 對하여 살폈다. 本實驗에서의 支待電解質로서는 근래에 Chelatometry$^{1)}$에서 많이 쓰이는 EDTA(Disodium etylenediamine tetraacetate)를 擇하였다. 支待電解質로서의 EDTA의 기초액 組成은 0,2M EDTA(pH=6)가 最適임을 알았다. 本支待電解質에서 Titanium의 Polarograph波가 大端히 良好하고 pH 6.3에서 $E_{1/2}$=-0.61V v.s. S.C.E.이면 또한 이 境遇에 濃度의 따라 波高가 比例하여 定量分析의 可能性을 보여 주었다. Titanium in solution of EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) yield well-defined, reversible polarographic waves. In this report, a polarographic method for rapid determination of titanium in the Korean ilmenite was proposed, This polarographic method is based on the measurement of polarogram in the supporting electrolyte of EDTA. As the pH is increased the wave become more irreversible the diffusion current are diminished, and the half wave potential become more negative. In spite of the complication arising from numerous titanium species, in 0.2 M of EDTA, pH 6.3, the titanium waves are reproducible and analytically useful. In this medium titanium ion give well-defined reduction wave, and the half wave potential were -0.61V vs S.C.E. at pH 6.3. At the same time, the wave had a linear relationship between the concentration of titanium ion and the wave height. The Korean ilmenites were analyzed by this method and satisfactory results were obtained.

본 논문에서는 국내외에서 처음으로 시도되는 현장타설 팽이기초공법의 거통특성을 검토하기 위하여 기초형식을 현장타설 팽이기초(In-Situ TBF), 공장제작 콘크리트 팽이기초(PC-TBF), 전면기초, 무처리 원지반으로 나누어 모형토조실험을 수행하였다. 모형실험결과 현장타설 팽이기초와 공장제작 콘크리트 맹이기초의 거통특성은 거의 유사하게 나타났으며, 이들 맹이기초는 원지반 및 전면기초에 비하여 지지력 증대효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 기초 형식에 따른 지중연직응력 분포를 검토한 결과 팽이기초 설치시 지중연직응력의 영향범위가 감소하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편, 지반이 조밀할수록 팽이기초의 응력분산효과가 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 향후 다양한 지반조건에서 모형실험과 수치해석을 통해 보다 많은 검토가 수행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. In this research, model tests for in-situ Top-Base Foundation are carried out in other to investigate the load delivering mechanism and the incremental effect of bearing capacity. According to the result of model tests, the load-settlement curves of both in-situ Top-Base(In-situ TBF) and Precast Top-Base Foundation(PC-TBF) showed similar results in term of the ground movement and effect of bearing capacity. Also, the range of vertical stresses delivered into ground was decreased with Top-Base method regarding other types foundations.

A thick-layered RP process, transfer-type variable lamination manufacturing using expandable polystyrene foam (VLMST) has been developed to have the advantageous characteristics such as high building speed, low cost for introduction and maintenance of VLM-ST apparatus, and little staircase surface irregularities of parts. However, VLM-ST has difficulty fabricating an axisymmetric shape and a large-sized freeform shape because of the limited sloping angles and small build size. The objective of this paper is to develop a multi-functional hotwire cutting system using EPS-foam (MHC). MHC employs a four-axis synchronized hotwire cutter with the structure of two XY movable heads and a turntable. In order to examine the applicability of the developed MHC apparatus, an axisymmetric shape, a polyhedral shape and a large-sized freeform shape were fabricated on the apparatus.
