This study is aim to synthesize the meaning change through the extension of syntagmatic relations. With this theory, I try to explicit the extension of meaning occurred by the syntagmatic relations between nouns and verbs should be explained with the inference of inherent meaning. For this study, I pointed out some problems of lexical function theory that tries to explain universal factor of meaning occurred by combining between lexicons as the lexical function theory. In addition to, I also pointed out the problem of support verb theory which is the description model of predicates that combines with predicate noun. I criticized the lexical function theory that meaning would be divided into several abstract factor of meaning, also I explicit that is not the ultimate aim of semantics. I did not accept the presupposition of support verb which has no lexical meaning as well. In any case, verbs have those lexical meanings. One of the purpose on lexical semantics is to explicit internal and external motivation on the meaning extension. Besides, this trial to explicit the motive of meaning extension make us overcome dichotomy on aspect of syntactics which divides verbs into common verbs and support verbs.

Comparison of Skiing Time and Vertical Ground Reaction Force between the Short Turn and Basic Parallel Turn during Alpine Skiing

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the differences in skiing time and vertical ground reaction force (vGRF) between the basic parallel turn and short turn. Method: Eleven alpine ski instructors (age: 28.73±4.29 yrs, height: 172.36±6.30 cm, body mass: 71.45±9.16 kg, career: 11.09±2.70 yrs) participated in this study. Each skier was asked to perform a basic parallel turn and short turn on a 16° groomed slope. A foot pressure measurement system was used to measure the skiing time and vGRF under the three plantar regions (forefoot, midfoot, rearfoot). Results: Skiing time decreased significantly in all three phases during the short turn (p<.05). In the initiation phase, the vGRF showed a greater decrease on the midfoot and rearfoot during the short turn (p<.05). In the steering phase 1, the vGRF showed a greater increase on the forefoot and decreased on the midfoot during the short turn (p<.05). In the steering phase 2, the vGRF showed a greater increase on the forefoot and rearfoot during the short turn (p<.05). Conclusion: Our findings proved that the skiing time and vGRF changed during the short turn. Consequently, we suggest that recreational skiers should decrease the skiing time of the steering phase compared to that of the initiation phase and increase the vGRF on the forefoot and rearfoot in the steering phase.

國語 意味 硏究의 展望과 課題

이 論文은 지금까지 이루어진 韓國語 意味論 硏究를 批判的인 觀點에서 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 특히 의미론 ‘바깥(外部)’에서 이루어지는 논의를 어떻게 의미론 ‘안쪽(內部)’로 끌어들이냐 하는 점을 강조했다. 그동안 國語意味論 硏究의 限界는 다음 3가지로 정리할 수 있다.(1) 發見的 硏究 不足, (2) 理論 內的, 理論 間 論爭 不足, (3) 새로운 地平(代案的 方法論) 摸索 不足. 의미연구자들은 기존 관점에 대한 批判的 距離의 確保 및 새로운 觀點에 대한 간절한 追求가 부족했기 때문에, 理論 없는(즉, 一般化되지 않은) 事實의 發見과 事實 없는(즉, 具體性이 결여된) 理論의 단순 適用 사이에서 徘徊하고 있는 게 아닌가 싶다. 국어의 語彙體系를 제시하기 위해서라도 언어학 內部든 外部든 경계를 짓지 말고 언어 意味의 本質에 대한 다양한 견해를 깊이 탐색해야 한다고 본다. This study aims to examine the studies on Korean Semantics in a critical perspective and puts an emphasis on how to bring the issues discussed ‘outside’ of linguistic semantics into ‘inside’ of it. It is meaningful for us to understand how linguists progress the issues on postmodernism, the nature of language in deconstructivism, the relationship between language and thoughts, the relationship between language and humans and societies, and characters of texts, because it paves way to developing linguistics and seeking new theories. So far limitations of Korean Semantics are as follows:(1) lack of heuristic studies, (2) lack of inner arguments on a theory and that between theories, (3) lack of seeking new prospect(alternative methodology). It seems that semanticists wander between fact-finding without theories(not generalized) and applying theories without fact-finding(not concrete) because they do not attempt to criticize existing perspectives and desire new ones. It is necessary to explore various perspectives deeply without drawing boundaries between inside and outside of linguistics in order, at least, to suggest Korean vocabulary structure.

동계 복합훈련프로그램이 스키선수들의 신체구성, 기초체력 및 건강관련 지표에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to find the effects of the winter exercise program on body composition and basal fitness, health related index in collegiate ski players. The subjects were participated in this study who ski players male 7, female 5 in K university The result was not change in weight, but significantly 1.16% reduced body fat(p<.05), Body mass .77 (kg) increased (p<.01), BMI was 0.54 (kg/m2) increased (p<.01) too, and the girth of thigh 1.15 (cm) increased (p<.01). Basal fitness were not change back strength, muscle endurance, flexibility but significantly in equilibrium was 3.54 sec increased (p<.01), and 1,000m run was about reduced 10sec (p<.01). And the case of health related that Total cholesterol was 2.38 (mg/dl) reduced (p<.05), HDL-c 1.55 (mg/dl) increased (p<.01) but LDL-c 3.85 (mg/dl) reduced (p<.05). But Triglyceride (TG) was not change. In conclusion, long time’s winter training was significant change ski players body composition, health related index, but basal fitness was not only significant change in equilibrium, cardiopulmonary.

歷史資料 형태분석 프로그램 개발의 國語學的 意義와 活用 硏究 -活字本 古小說을 중심으로-

This research aims to introduce the Korean Historical Data morphological analyzer in terms of Korean Informetics, to show its performance and to verify significances of tagged corpus resulted by this program in terms of Korean linguistics. As an example-based tagger, this program is able to produce two analysis results: one is modern language(현대어) and the other is classical language(고어). Through this process it becomes possible to analyze variant transcriptions with a lemmas from modern languages, and it makes the processes of searching and collecting statistics easier and faster. The program’s performance has been shown by recall ratio(R) and precision ratio(P). In the case of printed old novel(활자본 고소설), the recall and precision ratio were 99.74% and 88.79%, respectively. The average result of other cases such as old novels printed from wood blocks(판각본 고소설), Modernization Period of Korea, and new novels showed 82.63%(R) and 83.63%(P). The Development of Historical Data morphological analyzer is expected to contribute to constructing a large scale corpus of historical data, which will allow us to extend and deepen the discussion of History of the Korean Language. 이 연구의 목적은 歷史資料 형태분석 프로그램을 소개하고 성능을 시험하는 것이다. 아울러 이 프로그램 개발을 통해 만들어지는 주석말뭉치의 國語學的 意義를 모색하려고 한다. 이 프로그램은 用例기반 프로그램으로서 2개의 분석 결과를 산출한다. 하나는 現代語形이고 다른 하나는 古語形이다. 이로써 다양한 이표기를 하나의 현대어 대표형으로 분석하여 쉽고 빠르게 검색할 수 있고 통계를 내는 데에도 편리하게 되었다. 이 프로그램의 성능은 재현율과 정확률을 계산한 것인데, 活字本 古小說은 재현율과 정확률이 각각 99.74%, 88.79%였다. 이외에 板刻本 古小說, 開化期 新聞, 新小說을 대상으로 프로그램을 구동해 보았을 때, 재현율은 평균 82.63%, 정확률은 평균 83.63%였다. 역사자료 형태분석 프로그램 개발을 통해 대규모 역사자료 주석말뭉치 構築이 가능하게 됨으로써 국어사 연구의 外延 확대와 논의의 深化를 기대할 수 있게 되었다.
