Nineteen hydrolysable tannins isolated from the Euphorbia helioscopia (Euphortiaceae) were tested for the inhibitory effect on mushroom tyrosinase activity in vitro. Inhibitory effect of gallotannin group exhibited more potent than that of phenolcarboxylic acid and ellagitannin groups against the enzyme activity. The inhibitory activity by pentagalloyl glucose on mushroom tyrosinase was more potent (IC_(50') 4.9 ㎛) than that of kojic acid (IC_(50') 8.7 ㎛).

The frequency of major accidents which has probability of occurrence at the high pressure underground pipeline of industrial estate such an Ulsan, Yeo-ju by the other construction such as an excavation work will be compared to city gas underground pipeline to derive the basic event by the FTA and present. Also, Observe and analyze the pipe damage impact factor such as an excavation frequency, patrol cycle. As a result, It contributes to the safety improvement of high pressure gas buried pipeline due to obtain importance and sensitivity of the pipe damge impact factors. 울산, 여주 등 산업단지의 고압매설배관에서 발생할 수 있는 굴착공사 등 타 공사로 인한 중대사고의 발생빈도를 도시가스 매설 배관과 비교하여 FTA에 의해 기초사상(Basic event)을 도출하여 제시한다. 또한 굴착빈도, 순찰주기 등 배관손상 영향 인자를 관찰 및 분석하고, 이들 인자의 중요도와 민감도를 Risk 비교분석을 통해 구해봄으로써 고압가스매설배관의 안전성 향상에 기여한다.

가스 배관은 도시가스 시설물의 핵심 시설물로 대부분 지하에 매설되어 있으며, 매설 토양의 특성 및 환경적 영향 등으로 인해 배관부식 등의 시설물 손상 위험에 상시 노출되어 있다. 매설배관은 관련법규에 따라 방식 상태나 배관의 방식전위를 주기적으로 측정하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 방식전위 측정시스템의 문제점을 보완하기 위해 매설배관의 방식전위 측정시스템 개발에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 연구내용은 관련 법규를 만족시키기 위한 방식전위 측정 기준 및 규격, 기준전극 규격 조사와 방식전위 측정시스템 구축을 위한 측정회로 및 데이터 송신 모듈 개발이다. 개발된 시작품의 테스트를 통해 현장 적용성을 검증하고, 선행연구를 통한 보완점과 향후 연구개발 방향에 대하여 고찰하였다. Gas pipelines are the core facilities in the gas facilities and the most pipelines are buried underground and are exposed to the risk of corrosion caused by the soil characteristics and the environmental impact. The anti-corrosion potential and the corrosion status of the underground pipelines are measured periodically in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. A study on the cathodic protection measurement system was carried out in order to solve the problems of the conventional measurement system. This paper describes the survey on the standards and the specifications of the cathodic protection measurement and the the reference electrode to meet the relevant regulations, and the development of the measuring circuit and the data transmission module to build the cathodic protection measurement system. This study verified the field applicability through the testing of the developed prototype and investigated on the problems of the previous studies and the future research and development direction.
자외선-B에의한 Hairless mouse의 보호기능과 표면구조의 변화 영향

Hairless mouse에 자외선-B를 일회 조사한 후 시간에 따른 피부보호기능과 표면구조변화의 정도를 TEWL과 주름살밀도로 측정하였다. 자외선-B의 조사 량은 0.5, 1과 3 MED 였으며, 측정 및 관찰은 조사전과 조사 후 1, 3, 5, 7 및 14일에 수행하였다. TEWL은 Evaporimiter로, 주름살밀도는 silicone replica와 image-analyzer를 이용하여 측정하였다. 조사전과 0.5MED 그룹들의 TEWL값은 변화가 없었으나, 1과 3MED그룹들의 TEWL값은 현저한 변화를 보여 3일째에 극대 값을 보였고, 이후 감소하기 시작하여 14일째에는 거의 정상 값에 도달하였다. 반면 주름살밀도는 자외선-B의 조사량에 비례하는 경향을 보여 모든 조사 그룹에서 3-5일째까지 감소한 후 서서히 증가하였다. 결과로부터, 1) 자외선 조사 후 시간에 따른 TEWL과 주름살밀도의 최대, 소 값은 3일째에 나타났으며, 2) 주름살밀도의 회복정도가 조사량에 상관없이 시간에 따라 일정한 기울기를 보였으며, 3) 주름살밀도측정만이 Sub-erythemal 손상의 정도차를 유의하게 보여주었다. Hairless mice (Skh:HR-1) exposed to single doses (0.5, 1.0 and 3. OMED) of UV-B radiation were displayed remarkable changes of barrier function and surface morphology. Trans- epidermal water loss (TEWL) as an index of barrier function was measured by evaporimeter, and wrinkle density (WD) as an index of morphological alteration was measured by image analyzer. Significant changes of TEWL were not observed in the control and 0. SMED group, but 1.OMED and 3. OMED groups noted significant difference. TEWL of 3. OMED group was rapidly increased to the 3rd day and decreased until the 14th day when it reached nearly to normal level, Time-courses of TBWL for 1. OMEB and 3. OMED groups displayed similar pattern, but different only in the magnitude. WD were significantly decreased during the 3rd-5th day in all of the irradiated groups and then increased during the last period to the 14th day, but did not recover the normal level at the 14th day. Time-courses of WD for all groups exhibited similarity, and were entirely dependent on the exposed doses. We also observed histological changes which included hyperplasia, sunburn cell (SBC) formation, accumulation of polymorphonuclear leukocyte (PMNs), and loss of collagen of UVB- exposed hairless mouse skin. Changes of TEWL and WD are helpful in understanding of epidermal and dermal damages by single exposure of UVB

박태기나무의 잎으로부터 피부멜라닌 색소생성 억제성분의 분리

Tyrosinase plays an important role in the process of melanin polymer biosynthesis. Therefore, the enzyme inhibitors have been of great concern as cosmetics to have skin-whitening effects on the local hyperpigmentation. During the search for new inhibitory compounds on melanin polymer biosynthesis from natural sources, MeOH extracts of 589 higher plants were tested for the inhibitory effect on tyrosinase activity by the muschroom tyrosinase assay in vitro. Among plants tested, the leaves of Cercis chinensis exhibited potent inhibitory effect on mushroom tyrosinase activity. Subsequently seven active compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate soluble part of acetone extract of the leaves of C. chinensis by the activity guided fractionation monitoring the inhibitory effect on tyrosinase activity. Their chemical structures were identified as $kaempferol-3-0-{\alpha}-L-rhamnoside$, quercitrin, $myricetin-3-0-{\alpha}-L-rhamnoside$, myricetin-3-0-(2'-O-galloyl)- ${\alpha}$ -L-rhamopyranoside (desmanthin), (-)-epicatechin-3-0-gallate, (-)-epigallocatechin-3-0-gallate, and methyl gallate on the basis of the speculation of spectral data and chemical reaction. Among the flavonol rhamnosides, myricetin-3-0-(2'-O-galloyl)- -L-rhamnoside(desmanthin) showed most potent inhibitory effect on tyrosinase activity and the structure of B-ring in flavonol moiety was related to the activity. (-)-Epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate having pyrogallol group in flavan-3-ol moiety exhibited more potent inhibitory effect than (-)-epicatechin-3-0-gallate having catechol group in flavan-3-ol moiety on mushroom tyrosinase activity.
