A 34-year-old womar was admitted to the department of neurology, Seoul City Boramae Hospital for altered rnentality, food refusal and general weakness. She was a vagabond and had received anti-convulsant and anti-psychotic therapy over the past several years. She was referred to the department of dermatology for evaluation of skin lesions. There were light brownish, verrucous, hyperkeratotic plaques on the dorsum of both hands, wrists and soles, and pdoriasifom plaques on both elbows. Other skin lesions such as tina pedis, tinea crurir, and plaques on both elbows. Trichophyton ruhrum was isolat.ed from the dorsum of the hand, elbow, ingui nal fold, sole, and fingernail. On histopathologic examination, papillomatosis and hyperkeratosis were observed from the hand lesion and psoriasiforrn acanthosis from the elhow lesion. She was anergir to a Multitest CMI examination. When richophytin w;is injectecl intradermally, wheal de veloped after 20 minutes but induration did not developed untill 72 hours. We report this case because of its rare clinical manifestation and the interesting restilts of the immunologic test. (Korean J Derltlatol 1997;35(6): 1234-1240)
The Relationship between Critical Thinking Disposition and Basic Nursing Science

Objectives : The purpose of this study to investigate the Critical Thinking disposition in Nursing College students and related to ability of basic nursing science. Methods : Data were collected from 36 students who were students belong to one of province University. The instrument used in this study was California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory(CCTDI) by Facione & Facione. The instrument was composed of 7 sub-items, truth-seeking, analyticity, systematicity, open-mindness, critical thinking, self-confidence, inquisitiveness, and maturity. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlations with SPSS 12.0. Results : The result of this study were as follow; The average of total score in critical thinking disposition was 44.8, which means middle level(below 40: low, above 50: high level). Maturity was the highest while open-mindness was the lowest with an average score 5.01. There was significant difference between critical thinking and basic nursing science grade while there was no difference between age, gender, and religion. There was strongly relation between critical thinking disposition and basic nursing science(F=2.84, p=.01). Conclusion : According to the results of this study, nursing curriculum should be considered critical thinking disposition.
감자의 이용 실태 및 Glycoalkaloid에 대한 인식도 조사

This survey was conducted to investigate the usage of potato and recognition of glycoalkaloid among residents aged from their teens to over fifties in Daegu city and Gyeongbuk Province. The preferred purchase places for the respondents were traditional markets (41.8%), big discount markets (23.8%), and supermarkets (14.9%), in order. Freshness (52.1%) was the most important criterion followed by size (12.5%), sprout (10.1%) and producing district (6.6%), in order. Most (77.6%) respondents preferred small amount below $2{\sim}3kg$ per purchase. Potato recognition revealed that respondents knew relatively well that potato sprouts contain toxins (M=4.30), that the major potato toxin is solanine (M=3.86) and that potato contains toxins when its color turns to green (M=3.70). However, respondents did not recognized well that the potato peel contains toxins (M=3.00), or that this toxin is chaconine (M=2.48).
광선의 영향에 따른 감자의 Chlorophyll과 Glycoalkaloid의 함량 변화

To determine changes of chlorophyll and potato glycoalkaloid(PGA) contents in potato tubers after lightening, Dejima potatoes cultivated in Korea were used and PGA was analyzed by HPLC. Potatoes were stored under fluorescent and UV light exposure or darkness for 7 days at $5^{\circ}C$. The contents of chlorophyll and glycoalkaloid in the peel of potatoes exposed to fluorescent light were increased to $84\%,\;69.5\%$ respectively compared to potatoes stored without lightening. While a marked effect of lightening on the peel of potatoes exposed to fluorescent light, UV light lead to no change of chlorophyll and less increase in glycoalkaloid than fluorescent did. The increase of chlorophyll was provoked by only fluorescent light. Cortex part did not accumulate any chlorophyll or glycoalkaloid.

본 연구는 군 급식자 집단을 대상으로 군 급식에 대한 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석하여 군 급식의 품질 향상에 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다. 설문조사를 통해 연구를 진행하였으며, 조사대상은 총 111명으로 간부 3명 (2.7%), 병사 108명 (97.3%) 이며, 계급별로는 하사 3명 (2.7%), 병장 8명 (7.2%), 상병 43명 (38.7%), 일병 50명 (45%), 이병 7명 (6.3%)으로 구성되었다. 우선, 군급식에 대한 전반적인 만족도를 살펴보면, 69.4% (77명)가 보통이상이라 응답하였다. 군 계급별로는 상병과 이병 간에 그리고 상병과 하사 간에 군 급식의 전반적인 만족도에 대해 유의한 차이를 보였다. 상병이 군 급식의 만족도에서 낮은 만족도를 가지고 있었다. 군 급식의 만족도를 결정하는 요인으로 10개의 요인을 생각하였다. 10개 요인은 맛, 영양, 양, 위생상태, 식당의 환경, 식사 시 주변 인원, 식사 전 대기 시간, 후식의 유무, 선호하는 식단, 조리 관계자의 친절도이다. 군 급식의 전반적인 만족도를 종속변수로 하고 10개 요인을 독립변수로 하는 회귀분석을 통해 급식의 양과 맛이 가장 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 이때 사용된 관측값은 각 변수의 5점 척도 점수이다. 따라서 군 급식의 품질향상을 위해서는 맛과 양에 대한 품질의 개선이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study is to examine the satisfaction level for military food services as well as to find out influential factors which affect satisfaction. The questionnaire survey was conducted by 111 soldiers. In the satisfaction analysis for military food services, 69.3% of soldiers presented positive response. There are, however, some differences in satisfaction between corporal and private groups as well as corporal and sergeant groups. Overall, the corporal group shows low satisfaction for military food services. To identify influential factors for satisfaction of military food services, we considered various factors: tasty, nutrition, quantity, hygienic conditions, environment, ambient factors, waiting time, presence of desert, menu, and kindness of a cook. Satisfaction analysis shows that main significant factors are tasty and quantity of the food. Thus, tasty and quantity of the food are need to be consistently monitored and improved to increase the satisfaction of military food services.
