화영지통탕(和營止痛湯)의 혈관신생억제효과(血管新生抑制效果)에 관한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

The purpose of this study is to prove the angiogenesis effects of WhaYoungJiTongTang (hereinafter referred to as the 'WYJTT'). For the study, by utilizing liver cancer cell line; SK-HEP-1, lung cancer cell line: A549, stomach cancer cell line: AGS and bovine capillary endothelial cell: BCE, the effects of the WYJTT on toxicity and proliferation ability of cells and the effects on anti-angiogenesis of bovine capillary endothelial cell and of mice's aorta were studied. 1. Cell viability assay In comparison with the control group, when $100{\mu}g/ml$ of WYJTT was injected, the viability was reduced in SK-Hep-1, $400{\mu}g/ml$ in A549 and $200{\mu}g/ml$ in AGS. 2. Cell proliferation assay In comparison with the control group, when $600{\mu}g/ml$ of WYITT was injected, DNA synthesis was reduced to 35.1% in the SK-Hep-1, 56.0% in A549, and 25.8% in BCE (bovine capillary endothelial cell); and when $400{\mu}g/ml$ was injected, DNA synthesis was reduced to 12.1 in AGS. 3. Tube formation assay In the event that BCE is injected with WYJTT in each of its content gradient, the anti-angiogenesis was effective in amounts of $400{\mu}g/ml$ with 6 hours of the treatment. 4. Aortic ring assay In comparison with the control group, the angiogenesis was restricted to the remarkable degree in amount of $200{\mu}g/ml$: 10% in $400{\mu}g/ml$; and fully inhibited in each of $800{\mu}g/ml$ and $1600{\mu}g/ml$. As a result of the experiments mentioned above, WYJTT showed its anti-angiogenesis effects against cancer cell line.

The purpose of this study is to report on the current status for the English speaking curriculum and instruction in the Korean middle schools through the nation-wide online survey conducted to students, parents, and teachers. This study attempts to provide an in-depth analysis of schools’ reponses to the 9 survey question items on the English speaking curriculum in schools and those of students(1,372), teachers(1,584) and parents(1,294) on the English speaking instruction for improving its effectiveness. The results showed that various types of English programs were designed and implemented in order to enhance students’ motivations for learning English as a foreign language such as after-school programs, differentiated classroom instruction, multimedia based language teaching, and so on. It was revealed that a majority of all three groups favorably responded to items that asked their satisfaction about the school’s English speaking instruction. A number of methodological and environmental improvements affecting English language learning were called for, which ranged from improving teachers’ English teaching methodology, reducing the class size, developing the multifarious materials such as workbooks, digital contents for students and teachers, and to using interesting school text books. Based on the results of the study, pedagogical implications for improving the English speaking programs in school classrooms are suggested.

최근 장대 건설 구조물에 사용이 증가되고 있는 합성형 구조물에서 나타나고 있는 예기치 못한 일부 균열 현상의 구조적 원인을 분석하기 위하여, 강재복부의 수직보강재, stud 및 dowel bar의 유무, 전단철근의 간격과 콘크리트 강도 등을 실험변수로 하여 4점 재하 휨시험을 통해 강재와 철근콘크리트간의 구조적 합성거동 효과를 분석 하였다. 실험결과, 수직보강재는 강재의 국부좌굴 방지와 파괴시 강재와 콘크리트의 부착파괴를 방지하여 구조적 합성거동에 따른 단면내력(파괴하중)의 증진에 효과적인 것으로 나타났으나, 추가적으로 설치한 stud 및 dowel bar, 콘크리트의 강도와 전단철근량 등은 합성보의 휨거동에 큰 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. The composite structures of steel and reinforced concrete, which have been widely used in large-scale concrete structures, werestudied to investigate the cause of unexpected cracks and to verify the composite actions between the two materials. Vertical stiffeners between flanges, studs and dowel bars, stirrups, and concrete strength were chosen as experimental variables in afour-point loading test. The results showed that the vertical stiffener prevented not only the local web buckling, but also bond failures between steel and concrete. It increased the flexural resistance (fracture loads) due to the composite action of two materials, compared withthose of any experimental variable. However, the composite behavior of steel reinforced concrete beam was not affected seriously by additional studs, dowel bars, stirrups, and concrete strength.

In two female siblings, growth and developmental retardation, poor sucking, anorexia, floppiness and respiratory difficulty developed around 2 and 4 monthes of age in each, and the respiratory symptoms rapidly aggravated to comatose states and finally into death one month later, On admission at emergency room, severe acidosis and high lactate and pyruvate levels in serum and cerebrospinal fluid were revealed in one. Brain computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed identical bilateral involvement of putamen in both of the sibs, which made the diagnosis of Leigh disease(subacute necrotizing encephalomyelopathy) possible. There is also a family history of early death in infancy period: an elder sister and a brother of mother died with unknown cause at their 5 and 10 months of age. Mitochondrial enzyme functions could not be assayed.
RAM 분석 정확도 향상을 위한 야전운용 데이터의 이상값과 결측값 처리 방안

Purpose: Field operation data contains missing values or outliers due to various causes of the data collection process, so caution is required when utilizing RAM analysis results by field operation data. The purpose of this study is to present a method to minimize the RAM analysis error of the field data to improve the accuracy. Methods: Statistical methods are presented for processing of the outliers and the missing values of the field operating data, and after analyzing the RAM, the differences between before and after applying the technique are discussed. Results: The availability is estimated to be lower by 6.8 to 23.5% than that before processing, and it is judged that the processing of the missing values and outliers greatly affect the RAM analysis result. Conclusion: RAM analysis of OO weapon system was performed and suggestions for improvement of RAM analysis were presented through comparison with the new and current method. Data analysis results without appropriate treatment of error values may result in incorrect conclusions leading to inappropriate decisions and actions.

Purpose: Military maintenance involves corrective and preventive actions carried out to keep a system in or restore it to a predetermined condition. This research develops an optimal maintenance cycle for aviation oil testing equipment with acceptable reliability level and minimum maintenance cost. Methods: The optimal maintenance policy in this research aims to satisfy the desired reliability level at the lowest cost. We assume that the failure process of equipment follows the power law non-homogeneous Poisson process model and the maintenance system is a minimal repair policy. Estimation and other statistical procedures (trend test and goodness of fit test) are given for this model. Results: With time varying failure rate, we developed reliability-based maintenance cost optimization model. This model will reduce the ownership cost through adopting a proactive reliability focused maintenance system. Conclusion: Based on the analysis, it is recommended to increase the current maintenance cycle by three times which is 0.5 year to 1.5 years. Because of the system’s built-in self-checking features, it is not expected to have any problems of preventative maintenance cycle.
