A contact-less power supply system (CPS) allows electrical energy to supply to mobile consumers without any electrical or mechanical contact. CPS works in the same principle as a transformer, With the track litz cable forming the primary circuit and the pickup as the secondary The track power supply generates the high frequency altemating current in the track cable The captured AC magnetic field generated by the track conductors produces electrical energy m the pickup coil and the pickup rectifier converts the high frequency AC power to DC while regulating the power to the load. The conventional three-level high frequency phase-shifted dc/dc converter has a disadvantage that a circulating current flows through transformer and switching devices during the freewheeling interval.<br/> Due to this circulating current and RMS current stress, conduction losses of transformer and switching devices increases. To alleviate that problem, we propose an improved three-level Zero Voltage and Zero Current Switching (ZVZCS) dc/dc converter using a tapped inductor, a snubber capacitor and two snubber diodes attached at the secondary side of transformer. The proposed ZVZCS converter is verified on a 7 kW, 30kHz experimental prototype.

By the use of the DSP and microprocessor controller, many high power converters such as especially inverter and motor drive system may be enhanced resulting in the improved robustness to EMI, the ability to communicate the operating conditions and the ease of adjusting the control parameters. However the digital controller using DSP or microprocessor has not been applied in the high frequency switching power supplies, especially in full bridge dc/dc converters, This paper presents a promising solution to the dc bias control problem of high frequency transformer in high power full bridge converter.
