In this study, settling experiment was performed using dredged sail in Song-Do for analysis of settling and consolidation characteristic. Design parameters related to Yarn"s method(1985), one of experimental approaches having been used widely in Korea to estimate sedimentation and consolidation, were analyzed and their properties were reassessed. Several settling tests with different height of columns were carried out in order to evaluate settling md consolidation characteristics. As a result, settling and consolidation coefficient were obtained at the corresponding height of sample respectively. It were calculated as about 0.126cm/min. And we estimated a change cf settlment and volume ratio.
