The purpose of this study was to explore and understand why and how elementary school students do their makeup. An interview with 13 sixth grade female students attending an elementary school in Seoul was conducted to identify the reasons, learning routes, and purchasing patterns related to their makeup purchase and use. The results of this qualitative analysis showed that the girls were influenced to start wearing makeup by friends or family members, such as sisters and mothers. The students thought that their faces were ugly before they did makeup. They thought they became more beautiful and they were pleased after makeup. Elementary school students mostly reported that they used sunscreen, sun cushion with a whitening function, and lip tint. Some students also used a concealer to cover their flaws. They learned the methods of makeup by watching YouTube videos and from friends. They showed different purchasing patterns depending on the type of cosmetics they buy. They reported that their parents often bought their basic cosmetics such as lotions, and creams, while they tend to use their own money to purchase cosmetics for makeup.
벤포드 법칙을 이용한 신재생에너지의 거래량 공공빅데이터에 대한 신뢰성 평가

우리가 살고 있는 세상에는 숫자로 이루어진 수많은 데이터가 존재한다. 많은 숫자 중 인구수, 강의 길이, 산의 높이, 주식가격, 지구에서 별까지의 거리와 같은 자연발생적인 많은 양의 숫자들은 벤포드 법칙이라고 하는 경험적인 법칙을 따른다고 알려져 있다. 벤포드 법칙은 데이터의 인위적인 조작 여부를 판단하고 데이터의 신뢰성을 확인하는 도구로 즐겨 사용된다. 전 세계적으로 기후 위기에 대응하기 위해 탄소 중립을 목표로 환경 정책이 강화되는 추세에 있다. 그중에서도 신재생에너지는 탄소 중립을 위한 핵심 요소로 작용하고 있다. 본 연구는 벤포드 법칙을 이용하여 신재생에너지 거래량에 대한 공공빅데이터에 대한 신뢰성 검증을 하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구는 벤포드 분석을 이용해 태양광에너지, 풍력에너지, 수력에너지, 해양에너지, 바이오에너지, 폐기물에너지, 연료전지에너지, 석탄가스화 복합화력에너지 총 8개 신재생에너지 거래량이 벤포드 법칙을 따르는지 확인하여 신재생 에너지에 대한 공공빅데이터의 신뢰성을 평가하였다. In the world we live in, there is a lot of data consisting of numbers. It is known that many naturally occurring numbers, such as the number of people, the length of a river, the height of a mountain, the price of a stock, and the distance of the stars from the Earth, obey an empirical law called Benford's Law. Benford's Law is often used as a tool to determine whether data has been manipulated or not and to verify the reliability of data. In order to respond to the climate crisis around the world, environmental policies are being strengthened with the goal of carbon neutrality. Among them, renewable energy is acting as a key factor for carbon neutrality. The purpose of this study is to verify the reliability of public big data on renewable energy transaction volume using Benford's law. This study uses Benford analysis to determine whether the transaction volume of a total of 8 new and renewable energies, including solar energy, wind energy, hydroelectric energy, ocean energy, bioenergy, waste energy, fuel cell energy, and coal gasification combined cycle energy, follows Benford's law. The reliability of public big data for new and renewable energy was evaluated.

Wearable technology can be divided into a type that is placed on or attached to the body, and a type in the form of clothes. First, wearable devices that are attached to the body, such as wearable bands and watches, are developing focused on performing various and complex functions that will replace mobile devices. Meanwhile, smart clothing worn on the body is developing in the direction to satisfy human physiological needs, health, and emotions. Until now, both wearable devices and smart clothing have evolved with an emphasis on functionality, ergonomics and physical aspects. However, future smart clothing design is expected to develop that satisfies immaterial properties such as human emotions and self-actualization rather than technology-oriented designs. Nevertheless, it is difficult for fashion design majors who are familiar to traditional education to use digital as a formative element rather than a device. Therefore, this study developed smart clothing through Lilypad Arduino, which can access as a design element unlike other wearable devices. A smart diaper using Lilypad Arduino, temperature sensor, light emitting diodes, and buzzer module was developed that easily check the condition. The arrangement of electronic components were designed for user convenience, and it was confirmed that the smart diaper operates well.

A 7-year-old female mixed-breed dog was presented to a veterinary clinic for pyometra. During abdominal ultrasonography, an abnormal finding was noted in the gallbladder. A cholecystectomy was performed. Grossly, the gallbladder wall was thickened with a polypoid nodular projection into the lumen. Microscopically, the polyp consisted of a solid sheet of round to polygonal-shaped cells that formed small packets with fibrovascular septa. The neoplastic cells contained abundant cytoplasmic eosinophilic granules. Immunohistochemically, the neoplastic cells were positive to chromogranin A and neuron-specific enolase, whereas they were negative to vimentin and cytokeratin. This case was diagnosed as a primary gallbladder carcinoid tumor.

A 7-year-old Maltese was presented to a veterinary clinic for a history of anorexia, soft feces, and anemia. During abdominal sonography and computed tomography imaging, splenic mass was suspected. Laparotomy revealed the bloody ascites, and the enlarged spleen containing a large spherical mass. Microscopically, the splenic parenchyma was replaced by neoplastic cells with cytoplasmic vacuolation and abundant myxoid matrix. Cellular vacuolation and myxoid matrix were positive to Oil-Red-O and Alcian-blue stains. The neoplastic cells were positive to vimentin on immunohistochemistry. The case was diagnosed as myxoid liposarcoma. Based on a poor prognosis, the dog was euthanized three weeks after splenectomy.
불매운동 참여의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 분노의 매개효과와 온라인 및 SNS 뉴스이용의 조절효과를 중심으로

일본의 경제보복으로 촉발된 일본제품 불매운동이 대한민국을 뜨겁게 달궜으며, 그 열기가 아직도 가시지 않은 채 현재 진행 중이다. 특히 ‘공정’을 중요한 가치로 여기는 MZ세대의 적극적 참여가 이번 불매운동의 성공 요인으로 평가받고 있다. 본 연구는 20~30대의 수도권 소재의 대학생 및 일반인 217명을 대상으로 소비자 불매운동 참여의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 지각된 악의성과 자기효능감, 주관적 규범이 불매운동 참여의도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지각된 악의성은 분노를 매개로 불매운동 참여의도에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 이러한 전체적인 영향은 소비자들의 온라인 및 SNS 뉴스이용 수준에 따라 달라지고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 소비자 불매운동 참여의도에 미치는 다양한 영향요인을 발견하고 분노라는 정서의 매개작용과 온라인 및 SNS 뉴스이용의 조절적 영향을 종합적으로 검토함으로써 불매운동 현상을 이해하는 데 학문적, 실천적 시사점을 제공하는 데 의의를 두고 있다. The boycott of Japanese products triggered by Japans economic retaliation has heated up the Republic of Korea. This study examined the factors affecting the boycott participation intention in 217 college students and ordinary people in their 20s and 30s. The results of the study showed that perceived egregiousness, self-efficacy, and subjective norm had a positive effect on boycott participation intention, and perceived egregiousness had an indirect effect on boycott participation intention through anger. In addition, these overall impacts were moderated by online and SNS news usage. This study is significant in providing academic and practical implications for understanding boycott phenomena by verifying various influencing factors on consumer boycott intentions and comprehensively reviewing the mediating effect of anger and the moderating effect of online and SNS news usage.
