In order to create a national myth and be able to control international society, America with her short national history, used popular culture to accomplish these goals· The medium fit this purpose the best was the use of superhero characters based on comics· Born and developed from the 1930s through the 1960s, which could be seen as America`s national crisis era, superhero characters were thorough advocates of American justice and was perfect for the role of spreading the legitimacy of American ideology· From the 1970s, superhero characters became part of movies and became even more influential through the Hollywood`s massive film industry and the box office success· American ideology in superhero characters symbolically appeared in movie costumes· Starting with Superman and Batman, the very first and typical superhero characters` costumes work as metaphors for realization of American justice· After the 1980s, superheroes were newly developed through a genre called graphic novel and the most representative piece of this genre is Alan Moore`s Watchmen· In the Watchmen, which was also turn into a movie in 2009, six changed superhero characters appear ranging from a non-human superhero, villain superhero, superhero with mental disorder and superhero with sexual impotency, the characters were never-seen-before superheroes with different aspects that connote introspection and philosophical ideology· The changed type of heroes and ideology became another form of heroes, and this brought changes to character costumes that were never considered before· The superhero costumes that used to symbolize America now express different types of superhero by borrowing exotic mythical elements, undressing, pastiche and daily life clothes· The superhero characters and their changes in costumes from Watchmen imply American popular culture`s introspective tendency· Amongst these changes, we need to raise our critical vision towards popular culture.

혼잡예측 기반의 UDT 흐름제어 기법

네트워크 기술의 발전으로 이용할 수 있는 대역폭이 증가하고 있다. 그에 따라 증가한 대역폭을 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 전송 기술이 요구되고 있다. TCP Vegas는 RTT(Round Trip Time)를 이용해 혼잡을 미리 예측하여 윈도우 크기를 조절하는 혼잡 제어 알고리즘을 사용한다. UDT는 높은 대역폭과 큰 RTT 환경에서 대용량 데이터를 전송하기 위해 제공된 응용 기반의 전송 프로토콜이다. 본 논문에서는 UDT에 혼잡예측 알고리즘을 적용한 새로운 UDT의 혼잡제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 혼잡예측을 통해 혼잡한 구간, 혼잡하지 않은 구간을 나누어 혼잡윈도우를 갱신한다. 혼잡하지 않은 구간에서 혼잡윈도우를 증가시키고 혼잡한 구간에서 혼잡윈도우를 감소시킴으로써 기존의 UDT보다 성능이 개선되었음을 확인 할 수 있다.

UDT 환경에서 혼잡상황 예측 및 패킷손실을 고려한 성능향상 기법

최근 네트워크 기술의 비약적인 발전으로 사용자가 이용할 수 있는 대역폭이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 대용량 고속 네트워크에서 보다 신속하고 안정적인 전송기법이 요구되고 있다. UDT(UDP based Data Transfer protocol)는 UDP 기반의 전송 프로토콜이며, 일정 SYN time마다 rate control을 진행함으로써긴 RTT 환경에서 TCP 보다 두드러진 성능을 보인다. 하지만, NAK 발생시 고정적인 sendInterval의 증가와, 이전 시간의 RTT에 기반한 flow control로 인해 최적의 성능을 기대하기 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 실험에 의한 결과값을 바탕으로 NAK 수신시 RTT 구간에 따라 sendInterval을 조절하는 rate 제어기법을 제시한다. 또한 TCP vegas에 기반하여 네트워크 혼잡을 예측하는 향상된 flow 제어기법을 제시한다. 실제 Testbed를 구성하여 실험한 결과, 각각의 제안기법에 대해 약 20Mbps정도 향상된 throughput이 측정되었다. 또한, 두 기법을 혼합 적용한 결과에서는 최고 26Mbps의 성능 향상을 확인하였다. Recently, the bandwidth available to an end user has been dramatically increasing with the advancing of network technologies. This high-speed network naturally requires faster and/or stable data transmission techniques. The UDT(UDP based Data Transfer protocol) is a UDP based transport protocol, and shows more efficient throughput than TCP in the long RTT environment, with benefit of rate control for a SYN time. With a NAK event, however, it is difficult to expect an optimum performance due to the increase of fixed sendInterval and the flow control based on the previous RTT. This paper proposes a rate control method on following a NAK, by adjusting the sendInterval according to some degree of RTT period which calculated from a set of experimental results. In addition, it suggests an improved flow control method based on the TCP vegas, in order to predict the network congestion afterward. An experimental results show that the revised flow control method improves UDT's throughput about 20Mbps. With combining the rate control and flow control proposed, the UDT throughput can be improved up to 26Mbps in average.

"Disabled persons" means an individual whose prospects of securing and retaining suitable employment are substantially reduced as a result of physical or mental impairment. Terefore, "vocational rehabilitation" means that part of the continuous and coordinated process of rehabilitation which involves the provision of those vocational services, e, g, vocational training, and selective placement, designed to enabled a disabled person to secure and retain suitable employment . Also, effective service delivery system included that entry functions, accountability functions, provision of services, planning and control functions. The purpose of service delivery system of vocational rehabilitation counselling as key to enable a disabled person to secure, retain and advance in suitable employment and thereby to further such person's intergration or reintergration into society. We have to examine the over all service delivery system of vocational rehabilitation counselling for the purpose of searching the effective and workable plans. The research methods for the study were as follows : ① Establishment of theoretical bases of service delivery system of vocational rehabilitation counselling for the disabled through reference study. service dilivery system included that various functions and principles. Vocational rehabilitation included that intake, evaluation, counselling, training, placement, and follow-up. ② Visit and survey to in Seoul, Kyeong-Gi' s, policy office, medical office, vocational rehabilitation centrers, training ceters, special school's, special classrooms, and other welfare facilities in order to grasp the conditions of the institutes, vocational rehabilitation process, and its officer opinion for effective service delivery system of vocational rehabilitation. As a result of these methods, it was concluded that without improvement such as fellows below, the disabled persons in institute wouldn't be able to free themselves from unemployment when they want to job. First, administrative and financial support system need to be established, speecial school are under the control of Ministry of Education, vocational training are under the control of Ministry of Labor, and vocational rehabilitation centers and welfare facilities are under the control of the Ministry of Health and Social Wealfare. Therefore, a highter organizational system is necessary in order to bind the agencies together facilitation cooperation. Second, service delivery system need to be established. Each institutes never cooperates and helps each in order to serve better to disabled, - included that intake, evaluation, counselling, training, placement, and follow-up. Above all are interconnected. All institutes and other social association, and advocates need to share information and cooperate for the best service to each disabled. Third, for the purpose of effective service delivery system of vocational rehabilitation, we plan need to be developed for study, e, g, professional person and materials for vocational rehabilitation. Fourth, the vocational rehabilitation should be continuous. We need to be specialized the service, and facilitated the referral with institutes. Fifth, It the korea employment promotion agency for the dis abled that specially roles to execute a plan for the disabled. We need to view differently toward the plans for special stage. At last, policy shall aim at ensuring that appropriate vocational rehabilitation me asures are made available to all categories of disabled persons, and at promoting employment opportunities for disabled persons in the open market.
