스포츠사회학 : 프로스포츠 관람 정도가 관람 만족에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 프로 스포츠 관람 정도가 관람 만족에 미치는 영향을 분석·규명하고자 하였다. 즉, 경기장 관람 빈도, 관람 기간 등의 경기 관람 정도가 관람 만족에 미치는 영향 정도를 규명하는 데 주된 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 '98∼'99 시즌 프로 축구, 프로야구, 프로농구, 정규리그 플레이오프 경기 직접 관람자를 모집단으로 설정한 다음 유층집락무선표집법(stratified cluster random sampling method)을 이용하여 각 종목당 320명, 총 960명을 표집하였으며, 분석에 이용된 최종 인원은 820명이었다.본 연구의 종속 변인인 관람 만족 변인은 Wakefield와 Sloan(1995), Hansen과 Gauthier(1992), Jeffrey(1997) 등에 의해 개발·사용된 척도를 국내 실정에 적합하게 번안, 제작하여 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 설문지의 신뢰도 계수는 .6655∼.8401로 나타났으며, 경기 관람 정도가 관람 만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 <프로스포츠 관람 정도가 관람 만족에 미치는 영향> 설문지를 조사 대상에게 배부한 다음, 자기평가기입법(self-administered method)으로 설문 내용에 대하여 응답하도록 지시하고 완성된 설문지를 회수, 분석하였다. 통계 분석 방법은 SPSSWIN VERSION 8.0 프로그램을 이용한 중다상관분석(multiple correlation) 및 중다회귀분석(multiple regression)이었다.이러한 연구 목적 및 방법을 통하여 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다.첫째, 경기 관람 정도 즉, 관람 빈도, 기간이 길수록 경기장 시설 만족이 증가한다.둘째, 경기 관람 정도 즉, 관람 빈도, 기간이 길수록 경기 내용 만족이 증가한다.셋째, 경기 관람 정도 즉, 관람 기간이 길수록 경기장 환경 만족이 증가한다.넷째, 경기 관람 정도 즉, 관람 빈도, 기간이 길수록 팬 서비스 만족은 증가한다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of participating degree on spectating satisfaction at the professional sporting events.This study set a model of consumer behavior decision based on the results of the precedent studies about the determinative factors of consumer behavior and the hypothetical model done by Wakefield & Sloan(1995), Hansen & Gauthier(1992), Jeffrey(1997).To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, some viewers of '98-'99 season professional soccer and professional baseball games and KBL playoff games were set as a collected group. Then, using the stratified cluster random sampling method, finally drew out and analyzed 820 people in total.Data collected through a questionnaire designed for this study consist of fixed alternative choice response to items constructed to represent the operational definition for each variable.Statistics employed for data analysis was multiple correlation and multiple regression.Based upon the results of the study, the following conclusions appear warranted:1. Participating degrees influence on stadium facility satisfaction of spectator at the professional sporting events.2 Participating degrees influence on game satisfaction of spectator at the professional sporting events.3. Participating degrees influence on stadium surroundings satisfaction of spectator at the professional sporting events.4. Participating degrees influence on fan service satisfaction of spectator at the professional sporting events.
