The effects of various buffer layers on the $In_2O_3$ transparent conducting films grown on glass substrates by radio-frequency reactive magnetron sputtering were investigated. The $In_2O_3$ thin films were deposited at $400^{\circ}C$ of growth temperature and 100% of oxygen flow rate. The optical, electrical, and structural and morphological properties of the $In_2O_3$ thin films subjected to buffer layers were examined by using ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer, Hall-effect measurements, and X-ray diffractometer, respectively. The properties of $In_2O_3$ thin films showed different results, depending on the type of buffer layer. As for the $In_2O_3$ thin film deposited on ZnO buffer layer, the average transmittance was 89% and the electrical resistivity was $7.4{\times}10^{-3}\;{\Omega}cm$. The experimental results provide a way for growing the transparent conducting film with the optimum condition by using an appropriate buffer layer.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the kinematic motion of the first metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint during an electrical stimulation of abductor hallucis (AbdH) muscle, between the normal group and the hallux valgus (HV) group. Methods: A total of twenty subjects (normal group=10 and HV group=10) participated in this study. The kinematic motions of first MTP joint was measured by using 3-dimensional motion analysis during an electrical stimulation in the sitting position. The intensity of an electrical stimulation was set to be tolerated in each subject, and the data of kinematic motions were collected in three trials of 5 seconds. An independent t-test was used to compare the angle of flexion and abduction of the first MTP joint and proximal phalanx in frontal plane, between the normal and HV groups. Results: Participants showed that the angle of flexion was significantly greater in the HV group ($13.12{\pm}10.61^{\circ}$), compared to that of the normal group ($10.17{\pm}2.31^{\circ}$); and the angle of abduction was significantly smaller in the HV group ($10.61{\pm}4.99^{\circ}$) than that of the normal group. Also, the angle of the proximal phalanx in frontal plane was significantly smaller, compared to the normal group ($53.42{\pm}10.70^{\circ}$) (p<0.05). Conclusion: These findings suggest that dysfunction of AbdH muscle is apparent in HV deformity and provide insight into potential risk factors for the development of HV deformity.
Hybrid type linear motor의 설계와 추력특성시험

저가격형으로 프로토타잎 하이브리드형 리니어 펄스 모터(LPM)가 편측형으로 설계되었다. 모터의 정특성 및 동특성 측정위한 측정기기를 설계 제안하였다. 실험측정결과 프로토타잎 리니어 펄스 모터의 정특성 및 동특성을 구체적인 추력의 값으로 확인하였다. 프로트타잎 리니어 펄스 모터를 구형파와 마이크로스텝 구동으로 구동하여 각각의 경우의 추력의 변화를 확인하였다. 실험결과 마이크로스텝구동방식에서 추력리플이 현저히 줄어든 것을 확인할 수 있었다. A Hybrid type Linear Pulse Motor(LPM) for low cost is designed as single side stator structure. The static and dynamic characteristics measurement systems are designed. Experimental measurement systems, which measure the static and dynamic characteristic of the LPM, are uggested for the prototype LPM. It becomes known the values of the thrust forces. Finally the microstep drive method is adopted to the drive of prototype LPM. The waveform difference is measured between the microstep method and rectangular wave. From the experimental results, it can be confirmed that the repetitive ripple of the thrust force of the prototype LPM are reduced by taking the microstep drive method.
유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 대잠 탐색패턴 최적화 기법 개발

It is hard to find an operation case using anti-submarine searching pattern(ASSP) developed by Korean navy since Korean navy has begun submarine searching operation. This paper proposes the method to develop hull mount sonar(HMS) based optimal submarine searching pattern by using genetic algorithm. Developing the efficient ASSP based on theory in near sea environment has been demanded for a long time. Submarine searching operation can be executed by using ma ulti-step and multi-layed method. however, In this paper, we propose only HMS based ASSP generation method considering the ocean environment and submarine searching tactics as a step of first research. The genetic algorithm, known as a global opination method, optimizes the parameters affecting efficiency of submarine searching operation. Finally, we confirm the performance of the proposed ASSP by simulation.

This paper discusses a human body extraction method for mobile robot system. The skeleton features are used to analyze human motion and pose estimation. The intelligent robot system requires more robust silhouette extraction method because it has internal vibration and low resolution. The new hybrid silhouette extraction method is proposed to overcome this constrained environment. Finally, the experimental results show the superiority of the proposed method.

본 논문은 지능형 로봇 시스템을 위한 인간 몸의 하이브리드 실루엣 추출 기법을 제안한다. 지능형 로봇은 내부적인 진동과 낮은 해상도로 인해 강인한 실루엣 추출을 필요로 한다. 이를 극복하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 하이브리드 실루엣 추출 기법을 제안하였다. 하이브리드 실루엣은 영상간의 공간차 및 시간차 정보를 고려 생성되며 움직임 영역 모델을 통해 두 정보간의 중요성에 가중치를 준다. 최종적으로 설험결과를 통해 제안된 기법의 우수성을 확인 하였다.
