약물 관련 악골 괴사증(MRONJ) 환자에서 Pentoxifylline and Tocopherol의 효과: 문헌고찰

MRONJ (medication related osteonecrosis of the jaw) is a disease characterized by necrosis of the jaw that occurs after administration of anti-resorptive or anti-angiogenic drugs. However, etiology and effective treatment methods of MRONJ are not yet clearly identified. In this study, a systematic review was conducted to investigate the effects of pentoxifylline and tocopherol on MRONJ. A total of 5 clinical studies using pentoxifyllie and tocopherol in MRONJ patients among the papers registered in Pubmed/medline were reviewed. Pentoxifyllie and tocopherol were used for therapeutic purposes in 32 patients, and the mean age was 68 years for men and 74.21 years for women. Of the 32 patients, 20 patients were stage 2,11 patients were stage 3, and one patient was stage 0. In the most cases, the triggering factor was extraction. All patients complained of pain in the lesion area before drugs administration. The average follow-up period was 10.6 months. After drugs administration, 29 patients (90.6%) showed improvement in symptoms in terms of bone exposure and pain. Administration of pentoxifylline and tocopherol in MRONJ may improve symptoms of pain and bone exposure. However, it seems that additional studies on the appropriate use and dose, timing and duration of administration are needed.

이 논문은 한국사회에서 시민들이 일상적으로 이용하는 ‘찜질방’의 분석을 통하여, 찜질방이 그 일부를 구성하고 있는 ‘방(房)문화’의 의미, 더 나아가서는 ‘한국인의 일상문화’의 현재적 모습을 살피는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 찜질방의 공간 구성, 이용자들의 성격, 이용자들의 의례, 그리고 찜질방과 관련된 상상계(想像界)를 분석 대상으로 한다. 이를 통해 이 공간이, 첫째, ‘숨은 광장’이라고 가정할 수 있으며, 둘째, ‘공과 사의 혼융’을 보여준다는 의미에서 한국에 ‘고유한’ 공간이라기보다는 ‘포스트-모던적’이라고 일반화시킬 수 있는 공간이며, 셋째, 한국사회에 대한 ‘신화 분석’의 측면에서 보았을 때 이 공간이 ‘디오니소스’적이라는 점을 밝히고자 한다. ??This article aims at analysing the ‘jjimjilbang’, the contemporary korean sauna. With this, it tries to clarify indirectly some essential characteristics of the ‘culture of the bang(room)’ and the contemporary everyday culture in Korea in general. For this purpose, this article analyses the form and the composition of the space of jjimjilbang, the composition of its users, their rituals, and the imaginaries regarding the jjimjilbang. We propose three conclusions. Firstly, we suppose that jjimjilbang is a kind of ‘hidden place’. Secondly, jjimjilbang is likely to be a space which we can characterize ‘post-modern’ rather than that which is proper to Korea. Last, we can name this space ‘Dionysus’ from the point of view of ‘mythanalysis’.
일부 무기질의 생수 중 함량 분석과 생수를 통한 섭취량 평가

Minerals play an important role in the body as essential nutrients. However, it is not easy to meet DRIs because food sources of minerals are limited. Recently, consumption of bottled natural water has been increasing in Korea due to water pollution and distrust of tap water. The present study was conducted to investigate mineral contents in bottled natural water and their intakes among Korean adults. We analyzed eight minerals in seven kinds of bottled natural water by ICP-spectrometry and conducted a survey on the intake status of water and bottled natural water with 400 Korean young adults. The mean contents of Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Se, and Mo in bottled natural water were 22.45±22.48 mg/L, 10.59±9.97mg/L, 0.27±0.18μg/L, 2.06± 1.48μg/L, 5.47±0.70μg/L, 1.43±0.37μg/L, 1.90±0.96μg/L, and 3.34±0.79μg/L, respectively. The mean age, height, weight, and BMI were 22.76 years, 174.94cm, 68.64kg, and 22.41kg/m2 for males (n=150) and 21.25 years, 162.04cm, 51.05kg, and 19.46kg/m2 for females (n=250), respectively. The respective daily intakes of total water and bottled natural water as water itself were 670.30 ml and 212.20 ml for males and 488.04 ml and 132.72 ml for females. The daily intakes of Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Se, and Mo from bottled natural water were 4.76mg, 2.25mg, 0.06μg, 0.44μg, 1.16μg, 0.30μg, 0.40μg, and 0.71μg for males and 2.98μg, 1.41mg, 0.04μg, 0.27μg, 0.73μg, 0.19μg, 0.25μg, and 0.44μg for females, respectively. Overall, the contents of Ca, Mg, and Se in bottled natural water were relatively high and the daily intakes of these minerals were 0.4∼1.0% of the DRIs.

Twenty species of higher fungi growing in the wild were collected and studied extensively for their lectin activities by using erythrocytes of human, rabbit and mouse blood. In total, 14 species demonstrated hemagglutination with some kinds of erythrocytes. Of twenty species, eight (Boletus edulis, B. splendidus, Clavaria zollingeri, Lactarius subzonarius, L. volemus, Russula cutefracta, Pholiota squarrosa, and P. aspera) were shown lymphoagglutination with murine splenic lymphocytes. Protein contents were estimated from the crude lectin fraction. Above mentioned eight species contained relatively high amounts of proteins than other mushrooms. Since these species had, coincidently, high hemagglutinating activity as well, we could define them as lectin-containing mushrooms. Some species also contained mitogenic lectins toward murine splenic lymphocytes.
고순도.미립 $TiO_2$분말 제조에 관한 연구 -가수분해 반응 조건에 따른 분말특성(II)-

TiCl$_4$, 물 및 1-propanol의 혼합용액으로부터 미립 TiO$_2$분말 제조시, 1-propanol과 물의 부피비, 반응온도, 반응유지시간 및 TiCl$_4$mole 농도에 따른 분말 특성 및 결정상 생성에 대해 조사하였다. 반응온도가 3$0^{\circ}C$ 이상일 때 Ti 수화물의 초기 침전이 생성되었고 반응온도가 TiCl$_4$mole 농도가 증가함에 따라 입자크기는 증가하였고 $600^{\circ}C$ 하소시 1-propanol과 물의 부피비가 2보다 크고 반응온도가 7$0^{\circ}C$보다 낮을 때 주결정상은 anatase였다. 입자크기가 미세하고 입자크기 분포가 좁은 범위를 갖는 조건은 1-propanol과 물의 부피비가 2, 반응온도가 7$0^{\circ}C$, TiCl$_4$mole 농도가 0.2 mole/ι일 때였으며, 결정상의 생성은 1-propanol과 물의 부피비가 2, 반응온도가 3$0^{\circ}C$ 이상일 때 anatase에서 rutile로 전이하는 온도가 높아졌다. 이와 같은 반응인자에 따른 효과는 용매의 유전상수, 티타니아의 용해도, 입자의 표면전위 등의 효과와 관계가 있었다.
