        리더의 행동특성이 구성원의 내재적 동기부여와 친사회적 발언행동을 통해 개인창의성에 미치는 영향

        In order for companies to survive and achieve their goals in a drastic change in the business environment, they need to secure a competitive edge through efforts for change and innovation. Thus, by developing and leveraging creative ideas, companies adapt to changing market conditions, respond to opportunities, and thereby compete(Oldham, 2002; Nonaka, 1991). In the future, talent in the fourth industry should be able to create new added value, communicate with people and integrate creative knowledge through creative development and innovation in their fields. In particular, in an organization, it is very important for a leader to listen to the opinions, ideas or suggestions of members with constructive purposes. The leader's actions to listen to his subordinates' remarks in the organization for the nation's growth and development in the future can be seen as the most important to Korean corporate competitiveness by creating creative ideas for its members. In this study, 400 office workers were surveyed to find out how the behavioral characteristics of the leader affect the individual creativity, prosocial voice behavior, and intrinsic motivation of the member, and to provide implications for intrinsic motivation and prosocial voice behavior, the research theory was verified by analyzing the behavior characteristics of the leader and the effect of the individual creation relationship. The behavioral characteristics of the leader have all positive effects on members' personal creativity, prosocial voice behavior and intrinsic motivation, the report showed. Prosocial voice behavior and intrinsic motivation were also shown to have a positive effect on both personal creativity and the leader's behavioral characteristics and the effect of intermediaries in personal creativity relationships. As a result, this study suggests that the behavioral characteristics of the leader in an organization play a very important role in exercising the creativity of the members, that not only the role or attitude of the leader but also the intrinsic motivation of the members' prosocial voice behavior and emotional motivation are very important, and that prosocial voice behavior and intrinsic motivation have a positive effect on the action of the members. 급격한 기업환경의 변화에서 기업의 생존과 목적달성을 위해서는 변화와 혁신의 노력을 통해 경쟁적 우위를 확보할 필요가 있다. 이처럼 기업은 창의적 아이디어를 개발하고 활용함으로써 변화하는 시장상황에 적응하고, 기회를 반응하며, 이를 통해 성장, 발전, 경쟁하게 된다(Oldham, 2002; Nonaka, 1991). 앞으로 4차 산업의 인재는 자신의 분야에서 창의적인 개발과 혁신을 통해 새로운 부가가치를 창출하고 사람들과 소통할 줄 알아야 하며 창의적인 지식을 통합할 수 있어야 한다. 특히 조직에서 리더는 건설적인 목적을 가진 구성원들의 의견이나 아이디어 또는 제안에 귀를 기울이는 것이 매우 중요하다. 앞으로 한국의 성장, 발전을 위해 조직에서 부하직원의 발언을 경청하는 리더의 행동이 구성원의 창의적인 아이디어를 창출하게 함으로써 한국 기업경쟁력에 가장 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 직장인 400명을 대상으로 설문을 통해 리더의 행동특성이 구성원의 개인창의성, 친사회적 발언행동, 내재적 동기부여에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하고 내재적 동기부여와 친사회적 발언행동에 시사점을 제공하기 위해 리더의 행동특성과 개인창의성 관계에서 매개효과를 분석하여 연구가설을 검증하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 리더의 행동특성은 구성원의 개인창의성, 친사회적 발언행동, 내재적 동기부여에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 친사회적 발언행동과 내재적 동기부여는 개인창의성에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 리더의 행동특성과 개인창의성 관계에서 매개효과를 나타내었다. 결과적으로 조직에서 리더의 행동특성이 구성원의 창의성을 발휘하는데 있어서 매우 중요한 역할이 되며 리더의 역할이나 태도 뿐만 아니라 구성원들의 친사회적 발언행동과 정서적으로 나타나는 내재적 동기부여도 매우 중요하며 친사회적 발언행동과 내재적 동기부여가 창의성을 발휘하는데 긍정적인 작용을 일으킨다는 점을 본 연구에서 제시하고 있다.

        Korean Test Takers’ TOEIC-Speaking and OPIc Test Preparation

        High stakes English speaking tests have been used for evaluating applicants’ language proficiency in academic contexts or in the work place. In these situations, most Korean college students prepare for tests such as TOEIC Speaking or OPIc test in order to get better jobs. Although high-stakes tests pressure students and teachers to raise scores, there is little research about how test takers prepare for English speaking tests in cram schools. One aim of this study was to examine and compare TOEIC Speaking and OPIc test preparation activities in a cram school. Also, I aimed to investigate why and how test takers choose test preparation, the characteristics of test preparation, and how they are influenced by test preparation from the test-takers’ perspectives. Various types of data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. The results indicated that activities in the cram school mode were not significantly influenced by test type. Thus, test takers’ activities may be influenced by teacher’s instruction. The study raises awareness of the importance of instruction by a teacher for appropriate test preparation, and its impact on a test taker in the field of language teaching and testing.

        기업 맥락에서 직장인 고부담 영어 말하기 시험 준비: 수험자 정체성 관점으로

        This study aims to explore high stakes English speaking test preparation and test taker identity in a work place setting, investigating why and how employees prepare for a language test, and how their English learning and identity are influenced by test preparation activities from the test-takers’ perspectives. Qualitative data were collected through participant-interviews, documentation, field notes and research journal for three months in work place settings. The results indicated that test preparation activities were focused on test strategies, including memorization of sample answers. Also, it was found that test takers’ preparation practice may have come into being, negatively influencing their English speaking learning and narrative identity. The implications of the paper are to raise awareness of links between high-stakes language test, preparation activities, and test taker identity, focusing on negative effects on a test taker’s actual language proficiency and identity construction. It is also suggested that there is a need for investigating more cases of employee-test takers preparing high-stakes tests of English speaking proficiency at work by listening to their voices.

        글로벌 기업의 언어시험 준비 맥락에서 영어 스토리텔링 프로그램 실행연구: 내러티브 정체성 관점으로

        This action research aims to implement a global corporation’s storytelling-based curriculum, focusing on perspectives of narrative identity. In order to do that, Shin et al.’s (2018a) curriculum and Shin et al.’s (2018b) text book of storytelling were applied to the global corporation’s English language programme. Seven participants employed at the global corporation were joined in the research and taught by the researcher during the first semester of 2018 language programme. The curriculum consisted of two modules: action based and structure based. It was found that learners’ narrative identity were negatively constructed in a context of high stakes language test preparation, experiencing test preparation impact on their identity. However, as storytelling-based learning continued, learner’s narrative identity including narrative level and reflective response was positively developed. It is suggested that there is a need for implementing narrative identity based storytelling programme in a global corporation’s language education by listening to learners’ voices.

        날씬함에 대한 사회문화적 압력이 절식태도와 섭식행동에 미치는 영향: 신체불만족과 마음챙김의 효과

        This study examines the relationship between sociocultural pressures of being slim and restrained eating attitudes and uncontrolled eating behaviors, from which mediating effects of body dissatisfactions and moderating effects of mindfulness as traits and states are investigated. In study 1, 275 males and females were examined in order to assist in a better understanding the effects of sociocultural pressures of being slim due to restrained eating attitudes by mediation of body dissatisfactions, and verify whether mindfulness, moderated them. In study 2, 34 were randomly selected and evidence of associations between variables were added through an experiment, which were verified in study 1 examining whether restrained eating attitudes really affected eating behaviors. In the result of study 1, it was verified and found to be significant that body dissatisfactions was fully mediated in the relationship between sociocultural pressures of being slim and restrained eating attitudes, effecting interactions between body dissatisfaction and mindfulness as traits on restrained eating attitudes. The analysis in study 2 showed that effects of body dissatisfaction on restrained eating attitudes, and restrained eating attitudes on eating behaviors, were all significant. On the other hand, the moderating effects of mindfulness on body dissatisfaction and eating attitudes could not moderate them. In other words, body dissatisfaction was main factor between sociocultural pressures of being slim and restrained eating attitudes, while mindfulness was a protection factor. In addition, the meanings and limitations of this study, and future research tasks, were discussed. 본 연구는 날씬함에 대한 사회문화적 압력과 절식태도, 통제력을 잃은 섭식행동의 관계를 알아보고, 이 관계에서, 신체불만족의 매개효과와 특성과 상태로서의 마음챙김의 조절효과에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 1에서는 조사연구를 통해 남·여 275명을 대상으로 날씬함에 대한 사회문화적압력이 신체불만족을 매개로 절식태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 마음챙김이 압력과 절식태도의관계를 조절하는지를 확인하였다. 연구 2에서는 조사연구대상 중 34명을 무작위 선별하여 실험을통해 연구 1의 결과를 재검증하였다. 또한 절식태도와 섭식행동에 대한 마음챙김과 호흡훈련의처치효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 1의 결과, 신체불만족이 날씬함에 대한 사회문화적 압력과절식태도간의 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 검증되었으며, 사회적 압력과 특성으로서 마음챙김의상호작용효과가 절식태도에 미치는 영향이 유의함이 검증되었다. 연구 2의 결과, 신체불만족이 절식태도에 미치는 영향과 절식태도가 섭식행동에 미치는 영향이 유의하였다. 한편 신체불만족과섭식태도의 관계에서 마음챙김 조절효과는 유의하지 않았다. 즉, 신체불만족은 압력과 절식태도의관계에서 주요요인이며 마음챙김은 보호요인이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 논의에서는 본 연구 결과의 의의와 제한점에 대해 제시하였다.

        A Study on Adult Learners’ IELTS Preparation from an English-mediated Identity Perspective

        The objective of this paper is to examine Korean test takers’ English speaking test preparation, focusing on how they construct their English-mediated identity during test preparation. The test in question is the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic which has been used for university admission. Data consist of interviews, observation and field notes. The data were analyzed using Bryman’s qualitative analysis (2004). It was found that test takers’ identities were constructed in a context of English speaking practice. Also, they experienced test preparation impact on their identity. It is suggested that English speaking activities in high-stakes test preparation could act as critical experiences which shape English-mediated identity. By listening to voices of test takers, the implications of the paper are to raise awareness of the importance of test use and impact.

        Crowned dens syndrome (CDS) is a disease in which calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate crystals were accumulated around the odontoid process. Patients with Crowned dens syndrome usually present with severe neck pain, fever, and headache. Because of these symptoms, it is easy to be misdiagnosed as meningitis. We report this because we have experienced it.

        Palatal Rugae Pattern in Korean Children and Adolescents

        Purpose: To determine whether the morphological features of the palatal rugae are associatedwith sex and age in children and adolescents. Methods: A total of 300 diagnostic models of the palatal rugae of children and adolescentswere collected. The models were classified into male and female and<13- and ≥13-year-oldgroups. The palatal rugae pattern, and the number and length of palatal rugae plicae, wereanalyzed. Results: The number of palatal rugae plicae was higher in females than in males, however,the difference was negligible. In the group aged 13 years or more, the number was higherin the male group on the left side. There was no association between the number of palatalrugae plicae and age group. The type I pattern was the most common in both males andfemales. The length of palatal rugae plicae was greater in males than in females. There wasno association between the length of palatal rugae plicae and age group. Conclusions: The number and length of palatal rugae were associated with sex, but themorphological features of the palatal rugae could not distinguish between children and adolescents. These findings suggest that the palatal rugae have limited value for identificationof individuals.
