Two experiments were carried out to 1) develop a purified diet, and 2) exanine the protein requirement of fingerling rainbow trout. Four replicate tanks (50 fish each) of trout were assigned to a commercial salmon diet of a purified diet containing 30, 35, or 45% protein ; and three replicate tanks(4O fish each) to a diet containing 10, 15, 20, 25 or 35% protein(not counting crystalline dispensable amino acids which replaced casein protein to vary the protein level). Trout were fed three times a day for six weeks, and weight gain and feed/gain ratio were monitored. No significant differences were found in weight gain or feed/gain ratio among 10. 5-g fish fed diets containing 30, 35, 40 and 45% protein. Fish fed these diets gained abjout 80% as much weight as fish fed a commercial salmon diet which produced gain of 19.5 g/fish/6 weeks. Weight gain increased with the increasing levels of casein up to 25% and the breakpoint was found at 24% intact protein indicating that the levels of indispensable amino acids (IDAA) supplied by the 24% intact protein was sufficient to meet the requirements of trout for IDAA. Results suggested that energy sources used for trout diets play an important role in the determination of the protein requirements, and that the conventionally established protein requirement (40%) includes protein (24%) required to meet energy needs.

The purpose of this study is to propose a method for improving the effect of the preferential purchase of products manufactured by North Korean defectors. To achieve the purpose of this study, this study analyzed the current situation and similar cases of the preferential purchase policy of products manufactured by North Korean defectors were investigated, surveyed companies employing North Korean defectors, and Employment effects were simulated assuming policy improvements. The research method used the analysis on the current status and similar cases of the preferential purchase policy of North Korean defectors manufactured products, the survey of companies hiring North Korean defectors, and the system dynamics simulation analysis on the effect of employment. First, the policy status and similar cases were analyzed to diagnose factors that hinder policy activation. In order to investigate opinions on policy awareness and ways to revitalize the policy, a survey was conducted on companies employing North Korean defectors. And the effects of North Korean defectors' employment due to policy improvement were analyzed using system dynamics simulation. The following are the ways to improve the system based on the status analysis and the survey results. First, strengthen the job competency of North Korean defectors and should expand support for companies that employ North Korean defectors. In this stage, It should support customized North Korean defector education and mentoring programs and provide labor costs to companies hiring North Korean defectors. Second, “NORTH KOREAN REFUGEES PROTECTION AND SETTLEMENT SUPPORT ACT” should be revised to make it mandatory to purchase products produced by North Korean defectors, and the scope of North Korean defector's products should be expanded to products, services, and construction. In addition, companies employing North Korean defectors should be designated as subjects to the non-competitive contracts for public procurement and The purchase rate of products produced by North Korean defectors should be reflected in the management evaluation system of public institutions. Third, in order to raise awareness of preferential procurement policies and to encourage consumption by public institutions, North Korean defector product BI(Brand Identity) should be developed and distributed. In addition, policy promotion should be expanded to the government, public institutions and the public. Fourth, regular surveys should be conducted on companies employing North Korean defectors and a dedicated monitoring system should be established. Finally, through the implementation of this study step by step, the preferential purchase policy of products manufactured by North Korean defectors should be activated to promote economic independence and stable settlement of North Korean defectors.
