An obsevation of the total 70 humerus selected at random from skeletons of Korean race were carried out to study the size, number and the location of nutrient foramina in the mid-shaft. 1) The location of the nutrient foramina of the mid-shaft was concentrated in the VI zones on the vertical section and antero-medial surface and medial border on horizontal section. 2) The nutrient foramina of the right humerus Consisted mainly of lager group than that of the left which were medium in size (statistically significant). 3) The graphic drawing of the foramina on the vertical and horizontal section revealed a "V figure" in the V, VI zones and antero-medial surface, medial border and posterior surface. 4) Simultaneons injuriec to the radial nerve. and to the nutreent Vascular supply of the humeral shaft would seem unlikely due to the separate course & distribution of those structures. 5) It seems that the injury of the nutrient artery during surgery in this region may be avoided with the approach of the lateral aspect on the vertical VI zones, as the antero-medial surface and medial border contained the important arteries.
Pd+Rh 삼원촉매에서 촉매체적 및 귀금속량이 정화성능에 미치는 영향

Recently the use of Pd catalyst have been continued to expand because of cost avaliabilityand performance advantages. Especially the Pd+Rh catalyst instead of the Pt+Rh catalyst had been used for most of three way catalysts because of the more stringent emission standards and its higher temperature effectiveness. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the design parameter impacts on the Pd+Rh cat-alyst for the automotive exhaust catalysts application. This study was investigated on the catalyst efficiency for the volume and the precious metal loading of the Pd+Rh ceramic monolithic cata-lyst. And experiments concerning the effects of volume and precious metal loading on Pd+Rh three way catalysts were conducted to examined the catalyst light-off temperature and conver-sion efficiency on higher volume demonstrated almost similar performance. But their effects on higher precious metal loading demonstrated considerably better performance.

Involving articular surface and surrounding soft tissues, fractures of the tibial condyle were recommended anatomical reduction, rigid fixation and early joint motion by most authors. We annalyzed 25 cases to which 1 year follow up was available, treated with open reduction and internal fixation at the department of orthopaedics, Dong Kwang Hospital from Apr. 1989 to Mar. 1992. The results were as follows; 1. The incidence was more common in male, and the highest incidence of age was in the fifth decade. 2. Traffic accident was the most common cause of injuries. 3. According to Schatzker classification, type II and IV were common. 4. 7 cases of fibular head fracture and 12 cases of soft tissue injuries were associated. 5. According to Hohl and Luck's criteria, 18 cases out of total 25 cases could be classified into acceptable criteria.
Urban Air Mobility (UAM) 실내 공간 디자인을 위한 최적의 치수 가이드라인 제시

Objective: The purpose of this study is to derive design dimensions for each spatial factor based on subjective satisfaction evaluation using variable UAM (Urban Air Mobility) Mockup and to suggest guidelines for UAM internal space design. Background: Urban Air Mobility (UAM), which enables transportation of cargo and passengers in urban areas, has been proposed as a solution to the problem of economic loss and environmental pollution caused by ground transportation worldwide. Despite the active development in many companies such as UBER, Airbus, and Hyundai, the research on UAM internal space design is very insufficient compared to the research on UAM’s technical factors and the design guidelines for each internal space factors based on user satisfaction are needed. Method: In this study, 100 adults in their 20s were tested by variable UAM Mockups based on existing design guidelines for aircraft and helicopters and 5 to 95%ile of body dimensions presented in Size Korea. As independent variables, Seat Angle (0~30°), Seat Width (390~470㎜), and Seat Height (350~450㎜) were selected, and as dependent variables, Subjective Rating Level and Space/Seat Satisfaction for Seat (front/rear) Distance, Side Allowance Distance, and Ceiling Height. Subjective Rating Level for each factor was measured in three categories: First Uncomfortable Distance (FUD), Lowest Acceptable Distance (LAD), and First Comfortable Distance (FCD), and a survey of Space/Seat Satisfaction was conducted whenever each point was reached. Results: As a result of the experiment, the highest satisfaction with Space/Seat Satisfaction was shown at the Seat Angle 20°, Seat Width 450, 470㎜, and Seat Height 400㎜. A guideline for each Subjective Rating Level (FUD, LAD, FCD) for Seat (front/rear) Distance, Side Allowance Distance, Ceiling Height are derived. Conclusion: It is assumed that the appropriate design guidelines and methods derived for each Subjective Rating Level (FUD, LAD, FCD) by combining seat design factors and cabin space design factors can be used not only for UAM but also for vehicle and aircraft internal design. Application: If the Subjective Rating Level (FUD, LAD, FCD) is appropriately considered, it can be used as a guideline to satisfy both user satisfaction and optimization of UAM internal space design.
