The Naju had been the political, economical, and cultural main area of the Honam region since the Goryeo Dynasty founded by Wang Geon and Joseon Dynasty because it has superior cultural resources than the surrounding areas based on the abundant geographical resources including Najubeol and the Yeongsan River. Naju also has a tea culture based on Buddhist culture centered on major temples such as Unheungsa Temple, Bulhwesa Temple, and Dabosa Temple, which differentiating it from other areas around it. It is disappointing that, although the Naju has such infrastructure related to tea culture, the industrial development of tea culture is at a standstill compared to other regions. Modern people want a new type of tourism, and experiential tourism that combines education and tourist entertainment for families with children is settling as a new trend. In this context, ‘Bulhweyakcha’(佛會藥茶) Tea has a differentiated uniqueness as a tourism product in many ways.This study analyzes the creativity, regionality, historicity, and practicality of ‘Bulhweyakcha’, which has the value of an experiential cultural tourism product. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of ‘Bulhweyakcha’ to be a sustainable tourism product representing Korea in the future.

Spices, flowers, herbal medicines, herbs, etc. The ingredients of substitute tea are very diverse around us. However, in terms of efficacy, these substitute tea ingredients have common characteristics such as self-healing power, antioxidant ability, and vitamin and mineral supplementation. With the rapid development of modern medicine, we are treating various cancers, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. However, diseases of unknown causes are increasing due to environmental pollution, excessive stress, obesity, and various traumas. In addition, the treatment of autoimmune diseases and viral infections are limited by modern medicine. Substitute tea, a natural material collected from nature, is known to be effective in preventing or delaying the onset of disease through continuous drinking. Therefore, we would like to introduce a substitute tea that is harmoniously blended to suit the purpose using various herbs.
