The purpose of the study was to examine the perceptions of physical exercise in university students during the Covid-19 pandemic. One week e-survey was conducted to 136 male and 140 female students from S university in Chungcheongnam-do. The e-survey incorporated the levels of awareness on the importance of exercise. The e-survey found that students are aware that exercise was important. However, because of lack of time, laziness, inadequate knowledge about the importance of exercise, and they didn't frequently do it. On the other hand, they wanted to improve their physical and mental strength, and at the same time to lose weight. The COVID-19 pandemic period has recognized the need for effective strategies to maintain and improve the needs of physical exercise in the univerisy students. We recommended that the university students may be improved using the home-based exercise.
가상 시뮬레이션을 활용한 간호교육의 학습전이에 대한 내용분석 : 심장질환대상자 간호

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to explore the learning transfer of nursing education using virtual simulation for patients with heart disease. Methods : The reflective journals of 149 students were analyzed for learning transfer of nursing simulation. A virtual simulation classes on heart disease were presented, and participants responded to a semi-structured questionnaire related to their experiences of learning. Data were analyzed using a descriptive content analysis. Results : A total of 4 categories, 8 subcategories, and 22 codes were generated from 246 meaningful statements. The categories were ‘situational awareness’, ‘interpretation of information’, ‘decision making’, ‘professional interaction.’ Conclusion : This study indicates that nursing education using virtual simulation has a positive effect on learning transfer. Based on this research, it is reasonable to try various methods of nursing education. This study can also be used as a reference to materialize virtual simulation contents in the future.
폐경기 중년여성의 피로, 가족기능과 자아존중감 간의 관계

본 연구의 목적은 폐경기 중년여성의 피로, 가족기능과 자아존중감의 정도를 파악하고, 이들 변수 간의 관계 를 파악하는 것이다. 본 연구는 폐경이행기를 포함하여 폐경기에 해당하는 중년여성 133명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문 지를 이용하여 자가보고방식으로 설문조사가 시행되었다. 본 연구를 위한 자료수집 기간은 2012년 3월 2일부터 4월 10일 까지였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 피로정도는 교육수준(F=5.61, p=.005)과 월경상태(F=3.61, p=.030)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 가족기능은 교육수준(F=4.49, p=.013), 결혼상태(t=2.25, p=.026)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 자아 존중감은 교육수준(F=5.60, p=.005), 결혼상태(t=2.68, p=.008), 월 소득수준(F=3.51, p=.009)에 있어서 유의한 차이를 나타났다. 대상자의 피로정도는 가족기능(r=-.20, p=.020) 및 자아존중감(r=-.31, p=<.001)과 음의 상관관계가 있었으며, 가족기능과 자아존중감은 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다(r=.45, p<.001). 그러므로 폐경기 중년여성의 피로 및 건강관리를 위한 방안으로 가족기능을 강화하고, 자아존중감을 향상시키는 전략이 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다. 특히, 폐경기 이행기에 해당하는 중년여성의 피로 관리 및 소득과 교육수준이 낮고, 혼자 사는 폐경기 중년여성의 가족기능 과 자아존중감의 향상을 위해 가족적, 사회적, 간호학적 지지자원 마련이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to examine the relations between fatigue, family function and self-esteem among middle-aged women in menopausal periods. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaire survey form 133 middle-aged women. The data collection was done from March 2nd to April 10th, 2012. As a results, there were significant differences in fatigue by education level and menstrual status. And, there were significant differences in family function according to education level and marital status. Also, there were significant differences in self-esteem by education level, marital status and monthly income. Fatigue was negatively related to family function and self-esteem. And family function was positively related to self-esteem. These results suggest that nursing intervention should be developed to strengthen family function and self-esteem as a way to regulate fatigue for middle-aged women in menopausal periods. Especially, it is necessary to pay more attention to health management of middle-aged women belonging to menopausal transition, with low-income, low-education level.
간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스 차이에 따른 시뮬레이션 수업의 유용성 영향요인 비교

Purpose : This study was conducted to compare the difference of factors influencing the simulation utilization according to the difference of stress in clinical practice of nursing students. Methods : The study design was a descriptive research. 150 students were conveniently sampled from the senior nursing students who participated in simulation classes. The contents of the self-reported questionnaire included confidence, clinical nursing performance, immersion, satisfaction of simulation, and simulation utilization. Results : As a result of the study, it was found that the satisfaction of major, satisfaction of campus life were statistically significantly lower in the high stress group than low stress group. Factors influencing the simulation utilization were confidence and immersion in the low stress group and satisfaction of major in the high stress group. Conclusion : This study could be seen to suggest that the results of simulation education may vary depending on the stress in clinical practice perceived by students.
