뉴턴의 『광학』 제1권에 기초한 초등과학영재 프로그램 개발

본 논문에서는 Sir Isaac Newton의『Opticks』에 제시된 내용을 기반으로 초등과학영재 교육을 위 한 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램 구성을 위한 학습모델은 Joseph Renzulli의 삼형심화학습모델을 사용하였다. 『Opticks』제1권 1부의 명제 1 정리 1의 실험 2와 명제 2 정리 2의 실험 3의 내용을 기 반으로 삼형심화학습모델의 제2형 심화(집단 훈련 활동)를 구성하였고, 명제 4 문제 1의 실험 11의 내용을 기반으로 제3형 심화(실제 문제에 관한 개인 또는 소집단 탐구)를 구성하였다. In this paper we develop programs for scientifically gifted children based on Newton’s 『Opticks』 Volume 1. To construct the programs we use Joseph Renzulli’s enrichment triad model. Type 2 enrichment (group training activities) and type 3 enrichment (individual and small-group investigations of real problems) are constructed based on the experiments 2, 3 and 11 respectively in Volume 1 part 1 of 『Opticks』.
윌리엄 허셜의 적외선의 발견과 특성에 관한 논문들에 기초한 초등과학영재 프로그램 개발

본 논문에서는 1800년 1월 1일자 Phil. Trans. R. Soc. Lond.에 게재된 Frederick William Herschel의 적외선에 관한 4편의 시리즈 논문을 기반으로 초등과학영재 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램 구성을 위한 학습모형은 Joseph Renzulli의 삼부심화학습모형을 사용하였다. 삼부심화학습모형의 제1부에서는 적외선의 다양한 응용을 제시하여 학생들이 적외선에 대해 관심을 갖도록 유도하였으며, 제2부에서는 적외선의 발견에 관한 실험과 광학적 특성을 파악하는 실험을 수행하도록 하였다. 제3부에서는 2부에서 획득한 지식과 기법을 바탕으로, 태양관측용 필터를 제작하고, 태양 관측 사진을 찍는 프로젝트를 수행하도록 하였다. In this paper we develop programs for scientifically gifted children based on Herschel’s series papers on infrared. To construct the programs we use Joseph Renzulli’s enrichment triad model. In type 1 enrichment various applications of infrared are introduced and type 2 enrichment is constructed based on Herschel’s experiments on discovery and optical characteristics of infrared. In type 3 enrichment, we carry out the project making a filter for the observation of the sun by use of a telescope.
복수내 Fibronectin 치와 Adenosine Deaminase 치의 감별진단적 의의

N/A The differential diagnosis of ascitic fluids remains to be solved. The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic values of the fibronectin level and adenosine deaminase activity in differentiation of ascites. Ascitic fluid samples from 16 patients with malignancy, 5 patients with tuberculosis and 18 patients with liver cirrhosis were investigated. The mean ascitic fibronectin level was lower(p<0.01) in cirrhosis (32.8±16.7 μg/ml) than in malignancy (138.6±62.3 μg/ml) and tuberculosis (191.5±40.8 μg/ml) The mean value of ascitic adenosine deaminase activities was higher (P<0.01) in tuberculosis (68.1±37.2U/L) than in malignancy (11.4±5.9U/L) and cirrhosis (2.3±2.5 U/L) Fibronectin levels and adenosine deaminase activities did not show significant overlap among these 3 groups, while several other parameters analyzed simultaneously in these samples showed considerable overlap, By discriminant analysis, the fibronectin level was the best indicator for differentiation of tuberculous from cirrhotic ascities (% correctly classified 100) and the adenosine deaminase activity was the best indieator in the differential diagnosis of malignant and tuberculous ascities (% correctly classified=95.2). In differentiating the 3 groups, simultaneous determination of the fibronectin level and adenosine deaminase activity had the best discriminant ability (% correctly claseified=89.7) The results suggest that determination of both fibronectin level and adenosine deaminase activity in ascitic fluid may improve the accuracy of differential diagnosis of ascites.

Austenitic oxide-dispersion-strengthened (ODS) stainless steel was fabricated using a wet mixing process without a mechanical milling in order to reduce contaminations of impurities during their fabrication process. Solution of yttrium nitrate was dried after a wet mixing with 316L stainless steel powder. Carbon and oxygen contents were effectively reduced by this wet processing. Microstructural analysis showed that coarse yttrium silicates of about 150 nm were formed in austenitic ODS steels with a silicon content of about 0.8 wt%. Wet-processed austenitic ODS steel without silicon showed higher yield strength by the presence of finer oxide of about 20 nm.
