디젤매연필터내의 비이상적 압력상승 현상에 대한 실험적 고찰

Diesel particulates filter(DPF) is one of emission control devices to collect the particulate matter(PM) and to burn it through the regeneration process in diesel engine. One of regeneration methods is reading the collected soot mass value through the delta pressure for the regeneration trigger mechanism in the DPF. In this study, unexpected pressure rise phenomenon across the filter has been investigated. The synthetic gas bench (SGB) test has shown that PM layers were collapsed from the DPF channel walls from the middle zone in the DPF. Consequently it caused the blocking of the DPF channels, therefore the undesirable delta pressure was rised in the filter in condition of water in PM and high space velocity.
