Waste SiC powders obtained from silicon wafer sludge have very low density and a narrow particle size distribution of $10-20{\mu}m$. A scarce yield of C and Si is expected when SiC powders are incorporated into the Fe melt without briquetting. Here, the briquetting variables of the SiC powders are studied as a function of the sintering temperature, pressure, and type and contents of the binders to improve the yield. It is experimentally confirmed that Si and C from the sintered briquette can be incorporated effectively into the Fe melt when the waste SiC powders milled for 30 min with 20 wt.% Fe binder are sintered at $1100^{\circ}C$ upon compaction using a pressure of 250 MPa. XRF-WDS analysis shows that an yield of about 90% is obtained when the SiC briquette is kept in the Fe melt at $1650^{\circ}C$ for more than 1 h.
Analysis of Dielectric Coated Electromagnetically Coupled Coaxial Dipole Array (ECCDA) Antenna

전자기 결합된 동축 다이폴 안테나를 이론적으로 해석하였다. 방사도파관 모드와 퓨리어 변환을 이용하여 적분 방정식을 유도하였다. 적분 방정식에 포함된 적분들을 빠르게 계산하기 위하여 실수축을 따른 적분을 브랜치 컷 (branch cut)을 따른 적분 경로로 변환하여 계산하였다. 방사 특성에 미치는 슬롯과 다이폴 그리고 단락면의 길이 그리고 유전체 코팅의 영향을 조사하였다. 방시특성 또한 연구하였다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 증명하기 위하여 기존에 발표된 방법으로 계산한 안테나의 방향성 이득과 비교하였고 또한 전력 보존 법칙을 만족시키는지를 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 방법으로 계산된 결과를 전자파 상용 시뮬레이터의 결과와 비교하여 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. Electromagnetically coupled coaxial dipole (ECCD) array antenna with and without short-ended termination is investigated theoretically. The integral equations are derived for the structure by use of the Fourier transform and mode expansion of radial waveguide. The integrals appearing in the integral equations are evaluated along the branch cut instead of real axis for a faster convergent integral. The effects of slots and dipoles, short-ended termination length, and dielectric coating on the radiation characteristics are presented. Radiation pattern of the structure is also investigated. The results of the present method are compared with those of the commercial EM simulator and good agreement is found.

Nonevasive multifrequency microwave radiometry using coaxial waveguide antenna has been investigated for a homogeneous and four layer human body model. The coupling between coaxial waveguide antenna and a biological object was analyzed by use of the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method to obtain the absorbed power patterns in the media. The object studied in this paper was a homogeneous and four-layered lossy medium. The specific absorption rates(SAR) distribution which was corresponding to the temperature distribution was calculated in each region by use of the steady-state response in FDTD method. The SAR pattern of 1.2GHz was compared with that of 1.8GHz.
Mg-1.4 wt%Ca-xwt%Zn 합금의 이단 용체화 및 시효처리에 따른 미세구조 변화와 물성에 관한 연구

Optimum heat treatment conditions to improve the hardness and corrosion resistance of ternary Mg-Ca-Zn alloys have been studied, based on the theoretical models and DSC (Differential scanning calorimetry) experimental data. Two-step heating process at 420 ℃ and 480 ℃ has been applied and we have found that the low melting point phase, Ca2Mg6Zn3 can effectively be dissolved into α-Mg matrix without premature melting. Due to preceding treatment at lower temperature followed by the second stage solid solution heat treatment at 480 ℃, Mg-1.4 wt%Ca-xwt%Zn alloys (x=0, 1.5 and 4.0) exhibit improved corrosion resistance than that from the single step solid solution treated alloy at 480 ℃. However, aging treatment of the alloy at 200 ℃ has led to the homogeneous precipitation of Ca2Mg6Zn3 and Mg2Ca phases in the matrix as well as at the grain boundary. This microstructural change results in the deterioration of corrosion resistance mainly originated from galvanic corrosion between the matrix and the precipitates. The hardness of Mg-1.4%Cax% Zn alloy, on the other hand, significantly increases with Zn addition by applying two-step solid solution and aging heat treatment.

The microstructural evolution and mechanical properties during mechanical milling of pure magnesium powders were investigated as a function of the milling time and processing control agent. Commercially pure magnesium powders were mechanically milled in a SPEX 8000 shaker Mixer/Mill in an inert atmosphere. From the TEM observations and the analysis of the X-ray diffraction patterns, the steady state grain size was approximately 75 nm regardless of the addition of a processing control agent, while the milling time to reach steady state was shorter when a processing control agent (1wt% stearic acid) was added to the pure magnesium. It is noteworthy that the steady state hardness of the pure magnesium with the processing control agent was hardly different from that of the pure magnesium milled without PCA. Hence, we conclude that the oxides present in the magnesium surface function the same as that of the PCA, and their effectiveness is dependent on the characteristics of the magnesium surface oxides broken by mechanical milling.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 교사와 학생의 체육교육 가치정향을 비교하는 데 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 초등학교 6학년 학급담임 3명과 이 교사들에게 지도를 받는 6학년 학생 112명을 대상으로 Q소트기법과 언어적 회상의 방법을 통해 자료를 수집하였고, 항시비교법의 질적 자료 분석법으로 분석하였다. 또한 자료의 진실성을 위해 구성원간 검토, 동료간 협의, 다각도 분석법을 활용하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 교사는 사회적 책임감 가치정향을 강조하는 동시에 즐겁게 활동하는 것을 중시했으나 교과내용숙달과 학습과정 가치정향을 선호하지 않았다. 반면에 학생들은 즐거움을 가장 선호하였다. 그러나 교사가 실천한 교육과정을 분석해 보면 아이러니하게도 주로 즐거움을 위한 수업내용과 방법이 선택되었고 사회적 책임감과 관련된 수업내용과 방법은 선택되지 않았다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 교사나 학생 모두 운동기능과 체력활동 경험이 부족하여 상대적으로 즐거움과 정의적 측면의 가치정향을 강조한 데에서 기인된 것으로 판단된다. 한다. 이를 위해 중등학교 체육교과서 분석, 설문조사, 수업관찰 및 면담을 실시하였다. The purpose of this study was to compare the value orientation between elementary school teachers and their students. The participants were three teachers and on 112 sixth graders who get physical education class under these teachers. Two methods of data collection were employed: the Q-sort technique and the oral reflection. Data were analyzed by using constant comparative methods and the trustworthiness of data was confirmed through member check, peer briefing, and triangulations. The results indicated that although teachers emphasized value orientation of social responsibility considering students` fun and participation into class, but placed the low priority on the value orientation of disciplinary master and teaming process. On the contrary students strongly preferred fun. However, reviewing the operational curriculum practiced by teachers, they ironically chose the content not for the social responsibility but for the fun. These results may be depended on that both teachers and students are lack in experience of motor skill and physical activities, so that all of them relatively put an emphasis on the affective value orientation such as fun.

Caustic Soda Treatment Systems need a concentration measurement device in order to monitor the weight reduction amount of polyester fabrics. Since the reduction process requires several concentration measurements, we have to da the unit titration fast and exactly. Therefore, a proposition of estimation algorithm for finding the equivalent point in the titration process is needed. In this paper, we used the cardinal spline algorithm, to estimate the proper curve with the measured pH-values after each injection of titration solution, to predict the equivalent point. While the processing time is elapsed, several equivalent points are estimated and drawed the liars graphe of fabrics weight reduction automatically. Finally. we designed the hardware and the software an automatic titration system that can generate the reduction ending signal of Caustic Soda Treatment System.
