BMS(Battery Management System) consists of BMS ECU(Electric Control Unit), battery, tray, current sensor, DC link, terminal, safety plug, fuse, cooling fan. The BMS ECU contains all the BMS power electronics circuitry. It takes control signals from the Battery Monitoring to control the battery charging process and to switch the power connections to individual cells. In the paper, BMS ECU was designed and manufactured. Also, the validity is confirmed through Temperature & Humidity Environment test and Electrical Environment test.

In this paper, Cell voltage monitoring method is studied for fault detection of PEMFC(Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) for FCEV(Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle). To measuring several hundred of cells in fuel cell stack. The demanded feature of module hardware and network are studied and several types are analysed. Finally, 3.26% maximum measuring error is acquired and verified experimentally.
