공사 생도들의 팔로워십 특성이 훈육효과성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 장차 장교로 임관할 공군사관학교 생도들의 리더십 함양 제고를 위하여 생도들의팔로워십 유형과 특성을 측정하였고, 1995년 분석 자료와 비교하여 지난 20년간 생도들의 팔로워십유형이 어떻게 변화했는지 분석하였다. 또한 생도들의 훈육효과성과 관련된 변수들을 도출하여 측정하였고, 생도들의 팔로워십 특성이 생도들의 훈육효과성과 관련되는 변수에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 생도들의 팔로워십 특성 중 능동적 참여는 창의성, 자기효능감, 이타성, 양심/예의성, 시민정신에정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 비판적 사고는 창의성에 정(+)의 영향을, 스포츠맨십에는 부(-)의 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다. 팀정신은 창의성, 윤리적 행동, 자기효능감, 이타성, 양심/예의성, 시민정신, 스포츠맨십에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 목표일치성 지각은 스트레스에 부(-)의 영향을, 시민정신, 스포츠맨십에는 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 생도들이 상대적으로 부족하다고 나타난 행동과 태도를 강화하기 위한 훈육활동 방향에 대해 논의하였다. This research measured followership types and characteristics of cadets in order to find the way to develop leadership capabilities of cadets who will play critical roles as officers in the Republic of Korea Air Force. The change of their followership was also analyzed by comparing the current data with another set of cadet data measured by the same tools 20 years ago. In addition, the present study investigated influences of cadets’ followership characteristics on their performances and attitudes. Active participation was positively related to creativity, self-efficacy, altruism, conscientiousness/courtesy and civic virtue of cadets. Critical thinking was positively related to creativity and negatively related to their sportsmanship. Team spirit was positively related to creativity, ethical behavior, self-efficacy, altruism, civic virtue, conscientiousness/courtesy and sportsmanship. Goal alignment was positively related to sportsmanship and negatively related to their stress. Finally, we discussed the direction of future educational activities for cadets based on findings and implications from this study.
