We report a 5 year old girl who presented with a single episode of generalized tonic clonic seizure. Neurologic examination was normal. Psychologic evaluation and motor development of Denver developmental screening test were abnormal. Electroencephalogram showed abnormalities on the both temporo-parieto-occipital regions. Her computer tomography scan showed abnormal hypodense white matter. The MRI revealed a bilateral layer of tissue that was iso-intense with gray matter, between the wall of the lateral ventricle and the cortex, extending from the frontal to the occipital region, and enlarged both occipital horns of the lateral ventricle. These image findings indicated band heterotopia, also known 'double cortex' which is a kind of neuronal migration disorder.

A transfer matrix method has been developed to determine the more accurate natural frequencies for the bending vibration of Bernoulli-Euler beam with linearly reduced width and a concentrated tip mass. The proposed method can be computed an infinite number of the natural frequencies using a single element. Using the differential equation, shear force, and bending moment in which can be deduced by the diverse variational principles, a transfer matrix is formulated. The roots of the differential equation are computed by the Frobenius method. The effect of the concentrated mass for the natural frequencies of width-tapered beams is examined through a parametric study, and to show the accuracy of the proposed method, the computed results compared with those obtained from commercial finite element analysis program(ANSYS).

본 논문에서는 감시영역을 벗어난 후 다시 돌아온 객체에 대한 배회행위를 효과적으로 인식 할 수 있는 지능형 배회행위 검출 시스템을 제안한다. 전경과 배경을 가우시안 혼합 모델을 이용하여 분리하고 그림자를 제거하여 객체를 인식한 후, 객체의 색도 히스토그램을 이용하여 감시영역을 벗어난 후 돌아온 객체들을 판단하고 감시영역에 존재하는 시간을 보전한다. 배회행위를 판단하기 위해 카메라 캘리브레이션을 통해 실세계 배회패턴과 같은 행태의 매크로 블록을 영상좌표에 도입한 후 배회궤적을 추출하고, 감시영역에 객체가 존재하는 시간을 함께 고려하여 배회행위를 판단한다. 제안하는 방법은 실험에 사용된 모든 배회행위 프레임에서 정확하게 배회행위를 검출하여 그 효과를 입증하였다. Proposed in this paper is the intelligent video surveillance system to effectively detect multiple loitering objects even that disappear from the out of camera's field of view and later return to a target zone. After the background and foreground are segmented using Gaussian mixture model and shadows are removed, the objects returning to the target zone is recognized using the chromaticity histogram and the duration of loitering is preserved. For more accurate measurement of the loitering behavior, the camera calibration is also applied to map the image plane to the real-world ground. Hence, the loitering behavior can be detected by considering the time duration of the object's existence in the real-world space. The experiment was performed using loitering video and all of the loitering behaviors are accurately detected.

In this study, a transfer matrix method in which can produce an infinite number of accurate natural frequencies using a single element for the bending vibration of rotating Bernoulli-Euler beam with linearly reduced width, is developed. The roots of the differential equation in the proposed method are calculated using the Frobenius method in the power series solution. To demonstrate the accuracy of the method, the calculated natural frequencies are compared with the results given by using the commercial finite element analysis program(ANSYS), and the comparison results between these two methods show the excellent agreement. Based on the comparison results, a parametric study is performed to investigate the effect of the centrifugal forces on the non-dimensional natural frequencies for rotating beam with the variable width.

This paper presents a numerical method that can evaluate the effect of crack for the in-plane bending vibration of Timoshenko beam. The method is a transfer matrix method that the element transfer matrix is deduced from the element dynamic stiffness matrix. An edge crack is expressed as a rotational spring, and then is formulated as an independent transfer matrix. To demonstrate the accuracy of this theory, the results computed from the present are compared with those obtained from the commercial finite element analysis program. Based on these comparison results, a parametric study is performed to analyze the effects for the size and locations of crack.
